We love the care that Brisa provides in nurturing each child and giving them the social and emotional tools they need for in the classroom and beyond, and how integrated the children our with the outdoor space/nature. Our children have thrived in this community and we will miss this place so much as our older son transitions to TK."

"Our daughter started at Ocean Preschool just after turning 2.5 and 8 months in we couldn't be happier or more grateful for this community of students and families spearheaded by the amazing teachers. Main teacher Brisa follows a Reggio-Emilia inspired approach to create a truly child-centered and play-based environment, inviting and encouraging collaboration between the parents and teachers, and has invested much of her personal time talking and meeting 1:1 with parents to offer support and to problem solve typical and challenging toddler behaviors. Our child has flourished. As a parent it's been a wonderful experience to partner with the teachers to support our daughter in developing lifelong skills such as assertive communication, problem solving and emotional regulation. This school has felt like a saving grace to our family countless times."

"From the moment we toured Ocean preschool it just felt special. It’s an inviting environment that no child could resist. Fast forward 3 years and my daughter is now getting ready to move onto kinder - a bittersweet feeling. I honestly don’t know how I would have made it through toddlerhood without the parenting advice and warmth from our teacher Brisa. This is not your traditional preschool. This is a play-based environment that truly focuses on nurturing the individual child. Working with each child to develop their interests while also focusing on social/emotional development, an invaluable skill that will serve them for life. This school taught my soft spoken daughter how to embrace who she is, stand up for herself, share her thoughts and develop a deep love for creativity. I’m so sad that our time here has come to an end, but couldn’t be more grateful to know that my daughter is a mentally strong, confident child heading into kinder."
