Child Development Center

The Child Development Center (CDC) is a state-of-the-art facility located at 483 North Aviation Boulevard in El Segundo, California. Established in November 2004, the CDC provides full-day childcare services to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years from military and DoD civilian families. The program is certified annually by the Department of Defense and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, ensuring a high quality, developmentally appropriate and nurturing environment for children.

The CDC offers a safe and enriching environment for children at an affordable price, with fees based on total family income. Hourly care reservations can be made on a first-come, first-served basis by calling the center in the morning. The institution participates in the USDA Food Program, offering nutritious meals and snacks at no additional cost.

Due to high demand, there is currently a waiting list for childcare at the CDC. Families can place their children on the waiting list by visiting MilitaryChildCare.com before their arrival.
