BAMBI FAMILY DAY CARE

"Forever grateful to bambi daycare for caring for our son. My son has been attending their daycare since the last 1.5 years and he loves it.Given it was his first daycare after staying home, he took his time to get adjusted which was almost a month. The two sisters Leoner and Gloria who run the daycare made every effort to help him get settled and were very honest about his progress. After the first month of adjustment, my son started liking daycare and never bothered to turn back and say bye to me when I dropped him and did not want to come back home when I came to pick him. We also saw a massive improvement in his speech, social skills and his ability to interact with people across all age groups. My son even picked up some Spanish words which was cool. They provide free lunch and snacks ,but you can pack lunch if you wish to which I did just to keep him familiar with food that we cook at home. Leoner and Gloria take care of the kids out of passion and not for money. There have been multiple times when we missed paying the fees by almost a week since we forgot or got late in picking my son up from the daycare, but they never complained or expressed concerns when they had every right to do so. They also celebrate all major holidays and kids birthdays and send home exciting goodies and treats. Now that my son is 3 , he has started picking up a lot of skills that will help him transition to school later. Though it's an unstructured daycare, they take every effort to involve the kids with different kinds of activities as they grow up. My son now knows all the colors , shapes, alphabets and numbers and has also started writing some letters.He cant wait to show off what he learnt at school when he comes home. All in all, I would definitely recommend Bambi daycare to anyone looking for daycare. Leoner and Gloria know that they are doing and they do it best. Thanks again, Bambi daycare. "My son started going here when he was a little over a year old and continued going there till 4 years old when we had to move away. He loved going there, the staff are really awesome with the kids. He learned not only important social skills but was also very prepared entering Kindergarten. We never had a problem with staff and the place was clean and looked like a great learning environment. We loved them so much that when we moved back to town and had another baby, we already knew where we would take our newborn, to Bambi if course! My son is now 14, daughter 4 and we will always be grateful for the wonderful staff. I wholeheartedly recommend Bambi Family Daycare for affordable quality care."

"Our smallest son (2 year old) has been going at Bambi for the last 4 months. We have had the best experience so far, he is enthusiastic to go, and even though English is not our main language at home, and he is there only part-time, English has become his preferred way of communicating. He goes 4 days a week, and although in theory his day off should be Thursday, they have always been super-flexible when we had a different need for a given week (it has happened a lot). The place is indeed a refurbished garage, but completely fine inside, and with a nice and well equipped space outside. It is run by a professional educator supported by her sister and mother. All in all, this allows top day care for an affordable price, especially seen in the Silicon Valley context."

"Our elder son has been attending this daycare for the past 1.5 year and our younger son has been going here for the past 6 months. They both have been taken very good care of and we are very thankful to the care team. The ladies who run this place are very patient with the kids and they are aware of every detail about the kids progress when asked. We have found our son to be more open/free here and more expressive. They assisted in potty training our elder son and we are very thankful for that. Other daycares dont do that. There has been a mention in another review about money mindedness, it looks like the same person has posted one malicious review all over the internet. Just to be clear I think its the exact opposite. They do not charge for the vacations or the christmas holidays and they even returned my registration cheque for my younger son! I will definitely recommend this place to anyone else without a second thought."

"Our daughter has been attending this daycare for more than a year now. I find the negative recent reviews to be unmerited. We have had nothing but pleasant experiences with this family daycare. The attendants are three wonderful women (A mother and two daughters) who have nothing but the best intentions for our child. Our child regularly attends speech therapy and there has been a dramatic improvement in here speech since she began attending this daycare. They also regularly check in on our child's progress and provide us with feedback and a recap of her daily activities. Never have we ever seen any evidence of abuse. The daycare is a renovated garage, but it is in excellent condition and kept at a moderate temperature thAt is acceptable for our child. On hot days or when conditions are unfavorable the children are kept inside. The children are fed daily and never left wanting anything, my daughter eats fruits and vegetables there every day. This daycare also assisted in potty training our child and has been very liquid to our busy schedules. Some nights I work very late and have to drop of my child at varying times from early morning to afternoon. Any instance where my child has had to go home she has been truthfully sick. Lastly, as far as money is concerned this daycare has been completely accommodating. We always try to drop of payments early but whenever the check book is at home or forgotten and we bring in a late payment there has never been an issue. They also took a vacation last year and did not charge is for that week, regular daycares , regardless of wether or not they are open, whether it be a holiday or vacation, still require attendees to pay for these off times. The ladies who run this place are wonderful, and even send us home with pictures and presents on holidays. I do not have one bad thing to say about our experience here."
