"I like this place the employees know the regulars and are nice , and cigarettes are cheaper then most other places even 10.00 for Marlboro red 100s a habit hopefully I will soon kick"
"On an extra hot summer day, I needed to buy Coronita for a gift for my father in laws birthday. I finally found it and I had preorder from Walmart however during pick up, the item was unavailable and refunded. I googled the closes liquor store opened and called to ask if they carry it. 3 places said no or I don't know, let me check and hung up. The man that answered said yes and they had it in a 24 and 6 pack! In the past this item has been hard to find! Yay Palm Liquor! The business is right next to Palm Ave, facing E. Highland Ave. They were open, conveniently nearby, easy to find, in a large parking lot so ample parking spaces even with some trees for shade, basically located by the corner streets, next to the side of Stater Bro grocery store. They're open 7 days a week, open early at 7am and closed really late at 12am most days. Their business was air conditioned which I appreciated, practiced protection and social distancing during this time. Also conveniently located about 5 minutes from the 330 and 210 freeways. Was a quick easy find of the Coronita, then browse and picked up El Mexicano brand and Parrot brand coconut water with pulp to try something new as well as hydrate. Love! My husband really enjoyed the El Mexicano brand which is the first he liked from the many we have tasted. He typically drink or chug rather for nutritional benefits but this is now a favorite! And Parrot brand I've still and always love aside from an actual coconut! So thanks for the variety drinks, variety healthy options and variety brand! I thanked him for carrying the Coronita brand, he acknowledge that I called and he spoke to me and expressed that not many businesses carry the brand. It's awesome that the business knows their inventory. The customer service and man was courteous, kind, professional, knowledgeable and personable. For the simple little moment I appreciate all the thoughtfulness from the experience!"
"Customer service is excellent. Unfortunately the store and parking lot are pretty gross, upkeep could improve quality. Also, some clientele seem to be "shady" and drugs are dealt on a regular basis outside the store. I used to love Palm Liquor but the past few years it has deteriorated due to reasons listed."
"Wow this is a place where a bum still gets treated like a person I give his place 5 Stars because they treat everybody well fairly I enjoy getting coming here and getting some mind-altering liquid refreshing refreshment I must have just been there by the way I'm talking but anyway and it's next to stater Brothers so if the wife sent here buying groceries you can still sneak over there and pound a couple before you go back to the compound just remember be nice to her you'll be sad if she's gone but don't let her know that because you have an ego that's 100% alcohol unbreakable"
"It's sad to say that the first review here is great customer service however yesterday I received two fraudulent $20 bills when I cashed my employment check. Not only was I hesitant when he asked to see my check stub, which he said was routine for first timers, but something should have told me what was up when I was given money that came from a source that was not a cash register. I stepped outside to make a phone call asking for advice on what to do about the bad intuition I had, worried that someone you would ruin my credit using my social security number, and he came outside questioning if there was an issue. Mind you I had not confronted him about his asking to see my check stub just yet. He assured me viewing my check stub was only routine for first timers and that I had nothing to worry about and that he would not, I quote, "jip" me. now it makes me question his conscience. I am an 18 year old female who I'm sure he may have seen as a naive and easy target. The person I've spoken to on the phone claims he is not the manager but from what I'm aware of and what a witness remembers overhearing is, the manager is the person who cashed my check. Let's hope I'm not the first person. I will be there tomorrow morning and if they refuse me my money I'll be forced to go to Extreme Measures to make sure I get my money and make sure they're never allowed to distribute fraudulent money again. Sadly I'm forced to call off of work to go confront the issue, so let's hope they're cooperative. They will regret it they're not."
