"I've been coming here for awhile now as I just moved in down the street 1.5 years ago from Denver. Here has been my experience. The owner is a jerk to customers. It's no wonder the turn around rate for employees at this establishment is so high. He constantly has new employees including ones that I've seen once and then never again. The younger hispanic man with all the tattoos and curly hair is also a jerk to customers. One night my husband and I came in and there was a large group of not so friendly looking young men in the parking lot hanging out around the cars. We walked into the store and nobody was there. We waited at the counter with our items for several minutes till the young man came inside from the group of men outside. I've also noticed that there are some beers that have been in the beer cave and haven't sold that have been sitting there for 6 months. I found that cypress craft down the street is a much better business with better selections."
"Great selection of Craft beers and liquor. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable."
"Really cool random imported snacks are available. Many different kids of IPA and ofcourse the classics. I don't like IPA but would've been super excited here if I did. Friendly staff."
"Wow. I was promised a refund on two vapes I bought. One was completely burnt out and the other one doesnt hit at all. I promptly asked for the refund after I bought them and tried them out but the guy didn’t know how to process refunds and told me I would get one in the morning when a lady was working and she would process the refunds for me without any hassle. He made me sign a blank piece of paper with my name and the kinds of vapes I bought. I tried to leave the vapes with him since they were literally trash but he said I had to bring them back in the morning to get my refund. He was apologetic and assured me I would receive a full refund if I came in the morning or early afternoon when a lady was working. I drove there from work the next morning at 11 30 but unfortunately the lady was in a “the customer is always wrong so we’re going to keep your $38+ even though you got two non-functioning products with a combined value of $0.00” mood. Very condescending and rude. I tried my best to support a local small business that I hadn't yet supported - I just recently moved down the street. I was curious about their alcohol/drinks and snacks selection. If they don’t make this right fast me/family/friends won’t be customers ever. If a legal representative/employee of a business guarantees you a refund and then you get denied your money in such a highly rude way then it’s no better/different than theft by deception/falsehoods. It’s your money In Their bank account. I didn’t change my mind about the purchase, I was just sold broken/defected products(not as advertised or agreed to). I was guaranteed a refund, I signed the paper and I came back the next day when I said I would. Refunding broken/non-working vapes is standard at every single liquor store/vape shop I’ve been to. Just like Any product at Any store! Common sense and basic respect for fellow human beings!! Nearly all vape retailers have no refunds signs but that’s for people who actually use perfectly fine vapes then try to get a refund just before it burns out days/weeks later. As for people who get non-working/broken products of course they get their money back promptly at any establishment with even a tiny hint of professionalism. The cranky gothic hipster lady literally had the audacity to point to a post it type note with a sharpied on “no refunds” poorly scribbled on it. Sure lol.that’s like someone stealing products(let’s say fine cut diamond earrings) from a jeweler and then pointing to a handwritten post it note on their shirt that says “no prosecution allowed”. Just because you scribble something on a post it note doesn’t mean it’s ethical, lawful, logical, or good for business. They’d rather steal $38 from a new customer then get many thousands of dollars in repeat sales plus referrals. Small local retail businesses are about relationships! $38 is not worth thousands upon thousands in new sales! Let’s say you bought 2 expensive bottles of wine and when you opened them there was no wine in one of them and the second one was filled with vinegar instead of wine. would it be ethical/legal/the-right thing-to-do to deny the customer a “refund” if you had a “no refunds” post it note somewhere in the generally vicinity of the wines. Of course not! You paid for two specific kinds of wine if they cant supply the product you paid for then a refund is not only appropriate it’s the only right course of action. Customers who purchased defective products must be made while according to the FTC. I didn’t agree to pay for broken/non working vapes I agreed to pay for non broken vapes/working vapes. It’s really sad that a small business would treat their customers in such a horrific way not thinking twice about making a new paying customer jump through hoops to get their money back for products that were broken/didn’t work/defective and then when those hoops have been jumped through pull the rug out from under them, treat them with a nasty bullying attitude, and steal over $38 from them. Very disappointing. I was hoping to become a regular customer too."
"Great store. Amazing craft beer selection and exceptionally helpful staff. They have a rewards program and also provide a discount if you pay with cash. The owner is very friendly and appreciative of frequent customers. I recommend this store to everyone and anyone that's looking for good beer in the area."
