"I called the store ahead of time. Ask if they cash checks. Of course, we do only 1% too. The guy bragged on the phone. I drive up there's a big sign that says check cashing in Spanish, 1%. I go in there with my check. My forms of I. D. And was turned down. Because I don't work in a field. So basically you have to be Hispanic to be helped, I guess. This is ridiculous this place La princessesa market and Broadway liquor all do the same thing. like your business isn't a legitimate business because you're not speaking Spanish .racism comes in all colors and discrimination does too"

"Great bourbon selection! Prices are a little high, yet fair for the harder to find stuff. The guy working, Ryan, was patient with me as I browsed their selection; very nice guy. I’ve had trouble finding “allocated” bottles in Santa Maria so I was pleased to see they had quite a few on my list. I look forward to stopping in L&K on my weekly bottle hunt."
