"Solid local spirit shop. Reasonably good variety of products and very helpful and friendly staff. Definitely don’t shop here if you’re looking for a deal, though. A nice bottle of Bourbon I bought was ~30% more than the prevailing price on Google, and the nice bottle of Japanese Whiskey was ~35% more than the prevailing price on Google. The four pack of tonic water was 2x the price at Safeway. It’s hard to be a small business owner in this city, no doubt, but those are pretty steep price gaps."
"I stopped by Gemini because it's a specialty liquor store, and spent over $50 on "non-alcoholic" beverages for my friend who doesn't drink. I had an extended conversation with the clerk about what to pick for my friend, explaining the whole situation. I gave them to my friend, only to find out all of my purchases actually contain alcohol and he couldn't drink any of them. I was pretty upset When I complained to Gemini, they gave me a full refund, and I was happy again. They reached out to me to make sure that I was satisfied, which I appreciated."
