"The Itan on Carmel Mountain is well equipped, and the staff is very nice. But there is a man that I see often, mid to late 50's, that I have seen in there more times than I can count. He is always taking up the young ladies who work there time, and not in a good way, in a lingering, creepy way. The very first time I saw him around 2 years ago, it was closing time, the young lady was in the back mopping, and he was lingering in the front waiting on her, she looked uncomfortable and nervous. I asked him why he was waiting and he wouldn't answer and just stayed. I finally had to leave. There was once, I was there for 40 minutes, then I went next door, ordered food, went to Trader Joe's, came back to pick up food and he was still there trying to talk to the much younger than him ladies. I've watched him keep them from breaking away, when they are trying to clean. Once, I confronted him, because if this was my daughter working there, I would have her quit. He told me he is neighbors with the owner. When I accused him of being a creeper, because he is, he tried to say he was a married trainer trying to help these young ladies. Today there was a lady from the escondido Itan working there, and I watched him move right in on her. They are always nice to him, but it has to bother them that they need to deal with him and that the owner does not tell him to stop. At the very least, if he is there at the front desk for an hour or longer, he is taking away the time they need to clean and help others (he does step aside when customers walk in). I will not ever let my 18 year old apply for a job there, and I'm moving my services to Poway. Ladies, if you see him in there trying to chat up the kids your daughers age, I guarantee it will strike you as creepy. You can't miss him, he looks like a burnt rotisserie chicken out if the 1980's with feathered hair and Run DMC style workout suit."

"I have been going to Itan Carmel Mtn when it was Urban Sun, Actually around 20 yrs. I have always been impressed with the staff that they have, until last week. Michelle is her name and she is extremely rude.I spend over $200 a month for services for my husband and I. I called ahead to make sure that I would be able to tan, It was 25 minutes prior to closing. I said I would be there in 10-15 min would I be able to tan? Michelle said Yes come in. I arrive and She rudes tells me I only have 4 minutes to tan. Excuse me..... You have got to be kidding me. I called ahead and you told me I would be ok. At this location there is usually only one person working and not the safest lately so my husband and I always go before closing to make sure that the girl (s) are safe. But this Michelle might want to take some customer service skills. I am from NJ/Philly and I know rude. She was rude. The girls that work there are always very classy and presentable, NOT MICHELLE."

"The girls are always very nice & the facility is always very clean. Since I only use the spray tan, I would love to see offers to purchase a bundle of spray tans at a discounted price (like Urban Sun used to do). I don’t like to buy into memberships.
