"Had called ahead and made an appointment for Monday at 9:45 AM with one of the Doctors. Apparently giving all the information over the phone and scheduling with the same doctor another family member see wasn't on the to do list of the receptionist. When we came in the lady said she didn't see anything and the other receptionist is good at scheduling things. Had to fill out new patient information which was expected, but now we have to come back and schedule another appointment. Hopefully they don't forget to schedule this. (Make sure to confirm with both receptionists your appointment time in case they "forgot" or "make an excuse." Basically this visit was a waste of time and all of this could have been done over the phone, vis email or fax. Wasted time, money, and gas. Awesome! 9:52 AM well whatever the receptionist at the door said didn't make any sense. However, good news now all the sudden we are seeing the doctor. Original rating was 3 out of 5. Let's see what happens next. SHEESH! Quick and fast with another doctor recommendation. Adjusted the review to reflect :)"

"This office engaged in an illegal billing practice known as balance billing which is in violation of the terms of my contract with my health insurance provider. Allow me to explain. After services rendered by a Dr. Henderson from this office were billed to my insurance in the amount of $1250 for a simple mole removal, my insurance provider denied the claim because CSI and Dr. Henderson did not properly submit the claim and failed to include medical notes - a procedure which is in place to prevent fraud and overbilling by certain medical providers. Rather than resubmitting my claim, CSI and Dr. Henderson turned over my bill to a collections agency, Rash Curtis Associates, who have been harassing my for months now - until I finally was able to get to the bottom of this debacle. Meanwhile my FICO credit score dropped 100 points, and I am disputing this with the credit bureaus. My health insurance provider, United Healthcare, CONFIRMED that the doctor's office engaged in illegal balance billing of me the patient and in fact I do not owe the $1250 because they did not properly submit their claim. Now they will have to resubmit the claim and properly bill me, but not after having caused so much damage to my credit file due to their sloppy billing practices. Shame on California Skin Institute, this is YOUR job to learn how to properly bill patients."

"Someone by the name of “Cassie” gave me horrible customer service! Sounds like she was having a bad day! It was unacceptable. Definitely will be cancelling my appointment and never returning here again. She also called me several hours later and made threats to me because I threatened to report her to the manager about her poor, unprofessional behavior. Sad you lost a good customer! Wish I could give this no stars because of her."
