"I don’t know if it was the owner or some guy who just worked there, but he was so rude and nasty to me. I was browsing, just looking around, probably would have bought some snacks. But the man wouldn’t leave me alone. He kept shoving different products in my face, urging me to buy them. When I refused, he started to yell and cuss at me. I almost called the cops. I dropped everything I would have bought and left. Don’t shop here, you’ll get harassed. everything looked old and junky anyways."

"My absolute favorite Indian supermarket in the East Bay. The owners and staff are so inviting, informative and, above all, kind. Whenever I go there, as a non-Indian, who practices Ayurveda and cooks a lot of Indian food, they are always so helpful in helping me find the spices that I need. In addition they have incense, and puja items, and a beautiful selection of ghee, and Ayurvedic superfood that I use every single day. I feel like I am shopping with my family, as their kindness and patience with me. I often stop on my way to hike on Mt. Tam, and "Jackson" has been so kind to introduce me to some snacks. When I was looking for herbs to make a hair oil, Brahmi, Amla, and Bringraj, they had it! Patronize these wonderful and kind people -- they deserve your support as they contend with huge corporate supermarkets. Blessings to All."

"For anything that wasn’t there in the store the manager had an excuse that the product is stopped or banned or not coming from india. 2 minutes later we found the very thing we were looking for in the store. Useless storekeeper, and a cheat"

I consumed the cookies and ended up in the hospital for an allergic reaction. lot of testing later it was confirmed that the cookies which were expired were the cause of the anaphylactic reaction. I discovered after my hospitalization that all the things we purchased were expired. STAY AWAY OR MAKE SURE you check the expiry dates when you purchase from here."
