Reviews
"We stopped by here after Santa Barbara and on our way to Solvang. It was such a pretty spot to view the pretty sunset colors of the sky. The rock formations are so cool also. We didn’t have time to check out the hiking trails though."
"This review is for the wind cave trailhead and hike, awesome hike right off the 101. Park right past the tanks and the trail starts at the green fence. Paved and flat at first, then turn left at the big informational sign and get ready cuz it gets real steep real fast. The oceans blows up behind you as you climb up a big open field. Then you hit a ceanothus shrubland. Still climbing. There are a bunch of different little trails but as long as you are moving upwards you will end up at the wind caves. Spectacular rock formations. You need more water than you think, it is steep and exposed even though the distance is pretty short. Awesome payback at the end."
"This was featured on Instagram as a go to place. You start off hiking and can eventually reach the natural sulphur Hot Springs. However when we got there the Hot Springs are not hot, it smelled like stagnant sulfur because one of the ponds really was ..the other lower ponds had the consistency of quick sand... so you had to be really careful where you walked in that water. They say that it's supposed to have healing properties I'm not too sure how healing that was because I didn't get in it but the hike was really nice and it's pretty much a uphill hike the whole way.."
"A short stop to catch the sun before it went down and breathe in the sea air. There’s parking for campers, but if you’re hoping to go on the pier, you’ll be disappointed because it’s closed due to structural safety measures. It’s a quiet spot though and very peaceful."
"Came with my beach chairs and my drone to Enjoy the property. $7 for a day pass. Had to leave by 7p aka sunset. This was enough time for me. Ample parking, restrooms available. I got to explore the area. The cool rock formations, which are close to the pier. The pier itself is nice to explore. You can’t go on it. Watching the train go over the bridge. Tables are right on the Sand for your convenience. Nice spot to relax and take in the beach/sunset. If your have time the wind caves are right in the area. Enjoy"
