"A local oasis in Pacific Grove that I recommend taking a stroll on during a weekday late afternoon. Once you cross the "stream," you are then allowed to let your dog off leash, though many let their dogs off leash all over the beach, but technically you have to cross the stream to the Pebble Beach side. Every time I walk this beach I find a treasure washed up from the deep in the tide pools and along the shore. You can also surf this beach too!"
"Beautiful beach with rocks, tide pools, serene and calming yet with active waves. One can walk through bluffs and enjoy the panoramic views from Gazebos or relax on the beach or get into the water, or sit on the rocks and immerse in nature watching flying birds or kids enjoying the shore. Watch out there were a lot of jellyfish on the sandy shore on the day of our visit."
"Asilomar State Beach is a beautiful location that I stumbled across one day while down in Pacific Grove. It has a pretty boardwalk and a cool little gazebo to sit in and take in the views. It is definitely windy and gets pretty cold here towards the evening. Watching a sunset from here is worth it. Love all the sandy dunes and plants surrounding the ocean path and has stairs that take you down to the rock area if you want to get a closer view. Great views and quiet location."
