"This is a great place compared to tall trees trail. Was pretty easy but was breathtaking. Not sure how crowded it’ll be in summer but in Nov it’s really calm and serene. Definitely spend an hour to check this out."
"Nicely maintained trail..level so very easy for all to walk..takes you right among massive redwoods..absolutely beautiful!"
"Wonderful, easy to access spot to view redwoods. There is very limited parking, but if you get here early, you should be able to find a spot. This is a 0.9 loop that's relatively flat and allows you access to many of these amazingly large trees. It reminds you how small and short in duration that each human life is compared to these old giants. Absolutely beautiful place!"
"One of our favorite trails we did during our roadtrip. The trail head is right off the main road so there's a bit of road noise but the scenery is incredible with tons of roots and big trees to see. My husband and I found our favorite tree on our trip at this trail. There are some bathrooms at the parking lot, only a couple cars were there when we visited in April. The loop took us around 25, 30 minutes."
"Absolutely amazing. You could use every positive adjective and never fully describe this place. And the pictures, you could post 100 and still not show it all. The hike is easy and worth the time. Walker road comes up very quickly on 199 and you need to be ready to turn. The drive to the end of walker road is a little rough but worth the time as well"
