As a World Axe Throwing League affiliate, Hatchet House is dedicated to providing a fun and safe environment for all guests. When you rent a lane, you will be paired with a throwing coach who will guide you through safety rules, demonstrate proper throwing techniques, and explain how games are played.
While reservations are not required, they are recommended to ensure availability. "This is one heck of a great way to spend an afternoon. Went with several other people but didn't bother with trying to keep score, just had fun trying out different style axes (and knives!) for an hour. It doesn't take long to figure out how to get the motion right and it's not that expensive. Will definitely be back for some more fun."

"My husband loves throwing axes, but I was new to it. The staff was super helpful and the environment is very welcoming to beginners and advanced throwers. We got to try various axes, knives and my favorite, the shovel! We dropped in on a week night and it we were able to jump in a lane quickly. We loved it and will be back!"
"I reccomend reservations because this place is packed (but not claustrophobic). I took 5 teenagers for my son's 14th birthday party. It was $70 for 2 lanes for an hour for up to 6 people. They showed us how to throw and then they slowly brought other tools over; knives, thin axes, and a shovel. Each time they showed us how to throw them with single, double, and trick throws. We asked them for balloons to aim at as well. We paid at the end where our drinks and a t-shirt (for the birthday boy) were added on to the total but even with a tip it still only came to $125. The result was one really amazing birthday experience. We will be back."
