Reviews
"I’d give this review zero stars if I could, the people come into our neighborhood to park and always leave their trash from the food trucks that are there on our sidewalks and are constantly actively publicly urinating on our fences, we see it happening and leaving bottles of urine everywhere. It’s a disgusting problem. There are trash cans and a restroom at two parks very near. This has been going on since the consulate opened here."
"Last time my mom went here, it took so long to get her passport picture taken. I will agree that it’s a tedious process to get a passport from this place. The waiting times are unnecessary long that even the DMV doesn’t have such a long waiting time."
"Despite what is said about the Guatemalan consulate I had a good experience. I am a Legally blind, but not totally blind person when they notice at the window that I had trouble seeing the document to sign the Guatemalan consul himself came out to welcome me and offer me assistance if needed it thankfully I can still do most of the things on my own, but I appreciate the gesture , The rest of the process, including making the appointment went very smoothly. The only thing that I think they can improve on, is on spitting up the line to pay., that one was very slow because they had only one person at the window."
"Sadly, there are many negative things to say about this consulate, but I think most of the previous reviews addressed everything. From bad customer service to taking forever to go through this process, etc. In conclusion, they need to organize themselves better and change the ineffective system they currently have. Unfortunately, this is the only consulate nearby, so I have to keep on going back... if you need to go make sure you purchase your money orders ahead of time, eat well, take some water, wear comfortable clothes, and arrive early, way early to your appointment because you'll be there for a long time. I mean it, good luck."
"Tough experience. The process is super slow and inefficient. A lady waiting outside in the heat fainted. At least the Consulate employees were decent and cordial. I wish the Guatemalan Consulate would put more effort in serving their countrymen. Their website opens for appointments for less than ONE MINUTE three times a week. What kind of service is that?"
