Sheraton Agoura Hills Hotel 30100 Agoura Road, Agoura Hills, CA 91301

"I stayed here for a few nights. There were many little things that went wrong. It started when I arrived, staff said they were short on keys to the room and only gave us one. That wasn't a problem until we went to the room and the one key given didn't work. I called them and they brought up two keys. I guess they had keys now after that. We got a balcony suite and the balcony was dirty. They also said there was 2 complimentary waters in the room, but there were not. The TV kept freezing. The thing that really set me off was the dirty jacuzzi. I told the staff and they said they were going to send someone to clean it right away. We looked from our hotel balcony and never seen anyone clean it. It was disgusting. I don't like to complain, but for the amount of money paid, I expected a smoother stay."

"On business in the area and need to work in the evenings at the hotel. First Desk chair did not stay in the high position (defective piston...), asked for it to be corrected in the morning and was assured it would be, it wasn't. Wheeled the chair down to the front desk in the evening and waited for a replacement. When I got it back to the room, discovered it tilted heavily to one side and I almost fell over. On business travel I need a comfortable bed, a hot shower, and a productive work space. Fail on any one of those three, and you've failed me as a Platinum elite member. Thus the low score."

"Caution read all reviews,I didn't. DO NOT BOOK HERE. I'm a platinum elite member with 70 nights a year on average not to mention I use Marriott to book all my employees stays as well , and it makes no difference here.Rick is the general manager and will not return your call, nor will any management help you with issues. Was charged full price on my card after booking with points due to bridge being out on coast we were stuck in traffic had to cancel. We even stayed at another Marriott property. We are loyal to the brand .They wouldn't even honor any points for stay. Trust me, stay at a courtyard or springhill or any other Marriott property except this one.I waited to post this to see if they would make an effort,and nothing. Usually, Marriott is very accommodating. I feel like my business is not appreciated."

"Booked the room online. Was a little out of the way for our travels, but that was our fault. It's hidden on a hill, definitely older but far from rub down. Excellent staff checked us in. People hanging out in cafe and bar. Very business like. Rooms were dark brown themed and somewhat modern. I would have liked some bright color accents. But kinda classy. Bed was awesome..like I wanted to take it home awesome. Quiet and clean."

"Do not stay. Old hotel that they apparently decided to cover up the age with noxious fragrance. It feels like I’m staying inside of a toxic artificial fragrance bottle. Difficult to breath. Asked to be changed to room with balcony so I could breath. The artificial fragrance in the room is so strong, it’s actually streaming out onto the balcony. Completely unacceptable. This is in addition to the facilities and room features being old and dated. Throat and nose suffering. Not up to Marriot standards. Really not ok. The staff has been nice and friendly."
