"The room itself was outright disgusting. The carpet was so dirty that it left our socks black and there was dried up yellow URINE all down the backside of the sliding bathroom door. It seriously looked like someone did some extreme gardening on the carpets in that hotel, then proceeded to pee all over the bathroom door. Ever since Covid occurred, I always pack antibacterial wipes when we travel so we wiped down the whole bathroom, including the door (gross!!!) and luckily, I overpack so we all had extra socks to change into MULTIPLE times throughout each day. Also, there is zero parking anywhere else besides the hotel’s parking lot so you literally have no option but to park there, yet they charge you parking for staying at their hotel…? Rude. I will say that the breakfast was decent enough. All in all, we went to Sacramento to celebrate our toddler’s 3rd birthday and stayed 2 nights in this hotel — We will not be going back to this chain in any city ever again. How filthy the room was and how little the manager cares is just appalling."
"Clean facility with friendly staff. Close to the Old Sacramento Waterfront. We had an unusual experience in which I was doing a nebulizer treatment in our room, and the vapor set off the smoke alarm. After several minutes, with the help of the staff, we were able to reset it and stop the alarm. What I found interesting was that while every room close to us heard our alarm, theirs didn't go off. Breakfast was available, ranging from cereal and toast to hot food, such as waffles and egg omelets. For the most part (other than the smoke alarm), it was fairly quiet and easy to get some sleep. Very small luggage carts, or maybe I just have too much luggage. I would stay again and recommend this facility and encourage the short trip to the waterfront."
"Stayed in room 329 on 2/13/24 for $250.21. Overall, I would stay here again, but I would look first for a lower rate elsewhere. Not worth the price point. Pros • Super friendly staff • Accommodated early check in • Comfortable bed and pillows • Plenty of plugs / USB • Windows open for fresh air • Great water pressure and hot water • Very clean and still fairly new • Full size fridge and microwave • Amazing gym with great cardio, weights, bench, matts, balls, and rollers • Lots of parking but $10 fee • Area is a little rough with homeless, but at no point did I feel unsafe. The lobby locks front door at night with pass key access. I had no issues. Cons • Wireless super slow, but my ATT hot spot was FAST! • AC / Heat was so loud, almost deafening, but worked well. But blows right on bed / feet. • $10 parking fee feels like a money grab because parking is plentiful and the area is not located in high density place. • Lobby small and cramped with lots of big furniture and loud, not ideal to meet • Neighborhood does not feel walkable with lots of motels and mobile home parks and homeless. Definitely need a car as there are no stores / eateries nearby. • No shower gel in shower, just shampoo and conditioner and bar soap • No dish soap or dishwasher soap • No forks in kitchen, just miss matched spoons and knives • Breakfast was weak w/ lots of processed foods and no yogurt and no fresh fruit (bananas were way too ripe). They had breakfast sandwiches but no plain scrambled eggs or hard-boiled eggs."
"The staff is very attentive and friendly, the rooms are modern and clean. The breakfast. . . Ugh. . . I suggest just sticking to coffee, cereal, and milk. All the other items have enough salt to kill a small elephant, trust me on that. I'm usually not picky about food."
"I was much more impressed with this place than I thought I was going to be. It was the perfect place for us to stay for us to go to the river cats game. We paid last than some of our friends, who stayed across the river at the Holiday Inn. I also felt it was easier to get to our hotel, after the game, than it was to get back across the river. We ended up, walking down to the bowling alley, after we got back to our hotel and having a few cocktails and bowled a little bit before heading back to our room for the night!! Also the people who work there, are very friendly. The rooms were clean, and we had all the accommodations we needed."
