"Our experience with Kiddie Academy has been wonderful. The teachers are very caring and are willing to do the best for the kids. The leadership team is very approachable and always extends their support. They allow sports, soccer and dance classes to be held inside their facility during school hours, so one doesn't need to look for classes outside. It is nurturing, allowing kids to be kids and a safe environment. This place has worked well for us."
"My daughter has been going to Kiddie Academy of Cupertino for a year now. She likes to go there. We have seen academic growth in her. They involve kids in lots of fun activities which help them grow. And my daughter has made many new friends too. All the staff members and teachers are very kind, caring, friendly and helpful. We also like the events organized in school involving parent participation. We surely do recommend this place."
"Fantastic location. My son (age 4) has been going there for a couple of years now. Caring, friendly staff, teacher and management. Facility is super clean as well. My son looks forward to school everyday especially with the ton of activities they do at class."
"Our experience with toddler program (1-2 yrs) and for toddlers who are new in daycare was horrible. The transition time was the worst experience we had in this daycare. Although we paid a high tuition fee compared to other daycare in area, we didn’t get the services we expected at all. These are some of the observations we had: 1. Toddler room was small with 12 kids. They said it is CA standard, but it was the smallest toddler room among tens of daycare’s visits I had. With three teachers there were totally 15 people in that small room and what we experienced was a sick child every other week. 2. The toddler room teacher head was very cold to kids. For a new child in the system they left my poor boy crying and having tantrums for hours without redirecting and entertaining him properly. I still feel heartbreaking when I remember all I saw in video how he was crying and laying on the ground for hours. When my son started Bright Horizon daycare (thanks god I made a quick decision to change the daycare) I noticed what is the huge difference between a professional daycare like BH with daycare such this. My boy joined BH after 1 months being at home. From the day one there was a special transition program to make transition very smooth for him and it was perfect experience . Something I never observed in kiddie academy daycare. They might be able to just manage the kids who are in daycare since infants. The interesting point is that they asked us to join a meeting why our child isn’t adapted easily to their awful transition system and they asked us a doctor visit our child for his tantrums!! You don’t know toddler gets tantrums and why!? For toddlers who are new in daycare system, never try this place. 3. They didn’t have variety of toys in toddler room. I noticed several times in video they put painting in front of child, took photo for 1-2 mins and replace other child immediately. From all the money you get, could you please buy painting stuff for all kids in the room!? 4. The director Ms Angela wasn’t patient for such this important role. She was always easily irritated in the conversation. When I asked why there is no redirecting activity for a crying toddler, she was always replying back your child is not the only one in our daycare!! Usually the second sentence was with a loud voice! Imagine a mother who see her toddler having tantrums in video for an hour and when I called the center, the reaction from management was a loud voice with just justifying how good she and her team is in taking care of the situation!! 5. The toddler room teachers behavior wasn’t passionate for their role. My son like to carry his toy in playground, but they used to remove the toys from his hand without redirecting and made him having tantrums. they said to me kids are not allowed to carry toys in playground. In BH it was different. They told me my boy is free to have his stuffed animal since we want he makes trust with us. That is example of differences for professional child care in two systems. I waited to write this review since I was new in daycare system and didn’t experience another one. What I observed was just a crying boy with getting some emotional stress at home from this daycare. I learned how different daycare systems have huge impact in child development. My son is vey happy boy now going every morning to daycare with all his will . He collects all the stuff for daycare himself. And fortunately there is a compassionate very helpful team in BH with kind teachers. Something I wish Kidde academy afford us with expensive tuition fee."
"My daughter attended Kiddie Academy in Cupertino since 15 months old. I strongly recommend their young toddler program. Ms. Erin is a wonderful and experienced lead teacher. All teachers in the young toddler program are also great. The entire program is well-structured with themes and curriculums. They provide hot meal for lunch and two snacks so it’s an ease of mind for me. They are open for extended period of time without additional charges, so it’s a plus for working parents. In reality, there’re not many options for kids less than 2 years old and this center is among the best based on my research."
