"This was formally Holiday Inn and has not been updated in years. Felt like a Motel 6. We booked in thru AirBNB, very Disappointed. Nothing Luxurious about this place. There are 2 locations the newer units North (New) & South (Holiday Inn). Make sure you request the North Building. The location is perfect to walk across the street the the beach & downtown. The pool is not heated. Location, Location!"

"My only complaint is the price but laguna hotels are expensive regardless! I spent 177 a night. Charming place. I like the open concept with the pool in the center. The pool is warm and salt water. Nice seating area around it. Lobby was filled with coffee all the time. Rooms were nice and clean. Ours did not have a moldy smell as others complained. We were on the first floor. No elevator so we had to lug my 50 pound bag up and down the stairs. Room is a good size and we had a king bed. Carpet needs replacing and some of the wallpaper was chipping. Though it felt very homey. And its in an excellent location. 5 min walk to laguna beach and main area. There are trolley stops along the main road too. I will def stay here again. Wish they had a hot tub! They could easily add one in where the gazebo is. Also the fitness room needs a make over."

"They are getting a remodel soon. Not soon enough. The employees were okay, helpful for most part. Coffee was missing every morning, and they ran early, one time I got the last of the decaf but that is a perk that needs to be fulfilled. Pool was good, we enjoyed that. The room is a fire hazard. Our AC outlet started burning the last night. The plug is right by the only exit in the entire room. One large window that doesn’t open. We didn’t even realize how much danger we could have been in until we started smelling smoke and the the outlet had melted, literally melted, we just unplugged and let the front desk know. Also they only have double beds, not queen."

"Holiday Inn is my favorite hotel. We travel a lot and I've never found a hotel with such comfortable pillows and beds. We ordered Takeout and the delivery guy left it at the front desk instead of bringing it to our door or texting us. The front staff brought it right down to us. Very nice! A change machine would be nice for laundry! But overall we like this hotel. It's really cute outside as well. The gazebo is a nice touch"

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was small, but clean and bed was comfortable. Staff was very nice and always welcoming. Pool also nice. Plus, just a block away from the ocean and many great restaurants nearby. Definitely will stay here again next time!"
