"Cons 1. Out of our two cars, one had the window smashed and some of our stuff stolen. We are local so keep a bunch of stuff in the car, and this could have potentially been avoided if we had taken everything in with us. 2. However, several other cars also had their window smashed the same night (after Christmas 2023). Some people had almost nothing in their cars. 3. This seems like not an uncommon occurrence; no police came even though there were multiple smashed windows the and night. We've filed a police report online, etc. Pros 1. Lobby had hot cocoa, some treats, and lemonade type of drink 2. Staff were really nice and comped what they could 3. Rooms in updated section were nice. One TV didn't work properly but we switched rooms. 4. Right across from six flags Overall, the car window incident makes me unable to recommend the hotel."
"What a beautiful stay! The king bed and guest sofa room was magnificent. The bed sheets, the couch, the shower, the towels and most importantly the service! Front desk concierge, house keeping and management exhibited excellent world class customer service. The manager of the time, Ty (sorry if I misspelled your name) was absolutely wonderful and helped us with a small detail of our room. She we so cool and helped us make our stay more comfortable. If nothing else, the service was amazing! We felt welcomed and taken care of."
"I gave it a 3 only because the pool wasn't heated. I called a day prior to reconfirm it for my kids since they love To swim. It was freezing! Vallejo is very cold in the fall. Nevertheless the Manger did give me and my family $40 voucher to pay for our food. That was nice, she also offered to refund our money but I paid through a 3rd party. So we stayed. Food was decent. Grill cheese sandwich and fries to die for. They are good. Waiter gave us extra food and drinks as well. Location is right across from sixflags so that was the great thing. I'll go back only if pool is heated period."
"I would recommend staying elsewhere. Staying here for a week while my house was being worked on. The rooms were fine, however, there were issues with the hot water. Hot water in the shower would last maybe 8 minutes and then it would go cold. On the last night before checkout, it only lasted a minute and had to shower in freezing cold water. They also put us in rooms where they were doing remodeling on the same wing/floor and even in the rooms adjacent to ours. So all morning of the day before I was checking out, I had to listen to hammering and sawing. I was working from the hotel as I work from home however all the construction noise made it difficult."
"I was concerned about the negative reviews of this place but it worked out well for our family this weekend. Customer service was fantastic!! We stayed in a room on the remodeled side of the building. The room was sparse (no decorations and overheard lighting) but they're still in the middle of remodeling. The mattresses are brand new (the hideaway bed still had the plastic wrap on it). There are now more USB charge ports than you'll ever need. They have enough amenities for your basic needs. We really needed a place to stay after a long day at Six Flags and this was perfect! We didn't leave anything valuable in our car, and thankfully was fine in the morning. None of the cars around the parking lot had been broken into. I think using common sense and not entice thieves, as you would in any place, is key. Breakfast pastries and coffee/tea was offered in the morning."
