"The broth was watery and the flavor simply bad. Not overly oily like a lot of ramen shops but salty with not much depth to the flavor. It is disappointing to spend as much as an average bowl of ramen to get something that is less enjoyable than instant ramen. Service was fine at least. I went with five people, ordering popcorn chicken, spicy miso, black garlic tonkatsu, and tonkatsu. - They claim to brew the bone broth for 60+ hours but the broth had an empty flavor that simply wasn’t enjoyable to anyone I went with. - The black garlic was not even noticeable and tasted more like black pepper. - Noodles were fine but nothing special. Definitely not fresh. - Popcorn chicken was mushy and tasted like it was in the freezer for too long."
"Came here after a visit to the science center. It is in a little shopping complex. There are quite a few restaurants so it's hard to find parking. There were a few cars double-parked presumably picking up takeout. There is also metered street parking. We first chose a meter that had some time but then saw someone come out of a stall so snagged it. The restaurant is pretty non-descript. It was quite busy but there was an open table for 4 that they gave us. We waited quite a while for menus before I just took one from the table beside us. We ordered 2 Tonkotsu Ramen special combos. Combos include a roll for $9 so we got a California and Spicy Tuna. Also ordered Shrimp tempura roll and fried squid legs. Everything was really good. The squid legs was one of the best I've had. Service was better after the initial not getting menus. By the time we were finished the dinner rush had cleared out. To access restrooms you had to walk through the kitchen which I thought was weird. Food was great which is the important thing."
"A nice small Ramen house near USC. It has decent seating inside. I got their Ramen and Takoyaki. Their Ramen was pretty good. The broth tasted just right, flavourful but not too salty. It had a good amount of ingredients in a large bowl. I like how the meat was seared but still soft and tender to bite. The noodles were nice and chewy. It took awhile for my order to arrive, around 15 minutes. I guess they make the food from scratch once you order. My first time trying a takoyaki so I can't compare it to others. But I did enjoy how is was crunchy in the outside and gelatinous with some gooey texture in the inside. It had a small piece of squid. Had a tasty sauce and some kind of fish flakes as toppings in the outside. The place had very simple interior design. Had 3 tvs with some anime showing. Their customer service was ok. They were not that chatty but would answer my questions accordingly. They have restrooms available for customers. The parking is adequate but it can get busy with all the other shops around it. Overall, I enjoyed my dining experience and was satisfied. I wouldn't mind going back to try their other dishes."
"So this place is not bad. Flavor wise, it is not as thick of a broth like other Ramen Houses' that i have been too, but for the portion size and the price, it is pretty decent. Parking in the lot is a little tight, i had a Hummer and a Ford F150 sandwich me in my parking spot, so watch your doors! The gyoza was a little oily, i would have liked if they placed it on a cloth to soak some of that out before bringing it to me, that would be nice. i would be back, because it is close to me. It's OK."
