"Timber Creek is a great golf facilty. The course is fair yet challeging. The greenskeeping crew is top notch. Kudos to them. What sets TC apart to me is the practice facility. They revamped it last year and it is exceptional. The driving range is great. The practice putting green is large and well taken care of. But the new chipping, pitching, and sand trap practice area is my fave for sure. Many other courses neglect this critical component of the game, or worse...dont even have an area to practice. But Timber Creek did it right. Plenty of space to hit short shots, or even 20-30 yard shots. Love this place!"

"Today, June 10, 2023, both the practice green and short game area were closed, and apparently have been closed for multiple months while they're being rehabbed. I'm sure the final result will be worth this inconvenience, but I wasn't aware of it. For the most part, the course is in great shape... except for the bunkers which are in drastic need of attention, either some grooming or new sand. They're almost like hardpan, and many have weeds growing in them. I suppose the staff is focusing on the new practice areas, but I hope they'll give the course itself the attention is deserves."

"One of my favorite golf courses in the area. The scenery was beautiful and the course challenging. There is a putting, chipping and driving range. The amenities are well maintained with an upscale feel. This is a great date spot, if both people are into playing golf. IG: SACRAMENTOHONEY"
