"A huge disappointment. I initially came to drop off an Amazon return. However, as soon as I walked in the door, a woman was calling out to me about something. I couldn’t hear her given the noise from outside, as the doors were still open, and the sound blocked any sound from inside. She kept talking despite my indications that I couldn’t hear what she was saying. Once the doors finally closed, I indicated I had a return. She started to give instructions to go through the “yellow” gate and indicated a direction. I looked and saw nothing yellow (other than the bananas in the distant produce section). This misunderstanding continued until another customer entered and showed me the gate the employee was referencing. Sadly, it wasn’t visible from where I was standing… close to the lady that initially started talking to me as I entered. Once the new customer with the kind soul led me to the magic gate, I went through and then made a 180 to towards the Customer (Dis)service counter. I rang the bell at the counter. Eventually, an attendant there (who clearly didn’t give damn about helping) showed up and asked for the QR code to process my return. I pulled out my phone, saying something like, “I’ve got it right here… gimme a moment,” at which point he simply turned and walked away. Not so much as a comment like, “Ring me again when you’re ready,” or, you know, sticking around for a whole 30-seconds as I pulled up the information. After calling up the needed QR code, I rang the bell again, and eventually the attendant re-appeared. The return was processed, and I left. I abandoned my cart before the exit. Despite entering with it, I was no longer interested in doing any shopping. A shame, really, because I was looking forward to buying my groceries in a novel (and presumably better) way. Unfortunately, the unhelpful, arrogant, and rude reception I received after walking through the front doors was enough to turn me off from ever shopping there."
"2 stars for the convenience 1 star for the employees, they are doing the best they can and are friendly My issues are as follows: the sandwhich shop is constantly unavailable. The excuses range from "we do not have the correct bread" to no one being available to take the order. The pizza counter has been good except once when they actually just gave me a raw pizza to take home. If i could give a half star, I would, but I am not feeling generous. The pizza was raw raw. Inventory is rarely stocked, which sometimes makes it a challenge to one-stop shop. And when i shop, I expect this. I hope they figure out these issues because if they do, the store is fire."
"Now that is an experience - More cameras hanging from the ceiling than I have ever seen. Looks like a lot of tech to maintain and maybe go wrong. Anyways, the store was really nice and the employees were very pleasant and helpful. I'll be back."
"I have a serious problem with Amazon Fresh stores. Let me first say that I love the concept and also to be able to walk in and out with just a palm swap, but things have gotten worse recently. Their system makes mistakes all the time. My receipts from every other visit to Amazon Fresh stores have at least one mistake on them. That's an accuracy rate of only 50%. Here are some examples: I was waiting in the prepared foods department and happen to be standing in front of a stack of paper towels, I was charged for them. I was waiting in line for package delivery and return window and happen to be next a stack of cookies, I was charged for them. If I pick up an item to read the ingredients, there is a good chance that 80% of the time, I get charge for it, even when I put it back right away. I have many such examples. In my experience Amazon Fresh Stores make an error 50% of the time. That’s every other visit, sometimes, every visit. In the past, I’d get home after the purchase and look at my Amazon order on that day and if I found any errors, I’d simply select the option for a refund. The system would automatically remove that item from the receipt. Considering that Amazon Fresh Stores are still a work in progress, Amazon’s handling of their mistakes has been stellar until recently. In my past 2 visits to the Amazon Fresh stores, the system made a mistake on each visit and when I tried to select the refund option for those items that I had not taken, the system refused and asked me to call customer service. Customer service calls take at least 20 minutes. Considering the unreliability of Amazon’s in store item tracking, the fact that now they want us to spend 20 to 30 mins on the phone with customer service after each visit is preposterous. Until this matter is resolve I will not shop at Amazon Fresh Stores anymore."
"My first time at Amazon fresh. Not that exciting as I thought I was.. except no line at the check out counter. Still figuring out how to retrieve my shopping list. The lady said I should be getting an email showing all the items I bought. But no email of the list except a thank you email. I would like to know if I was charged correctly."
