Reviews of San Diego County Passport Application Acceptance Services
"Renewed passport in person thinking it's safer than mailing it myself. They lost my passport. Might as well renew online and have all the tracking numbers when you send ur docs."
"I applied for my passport here and the staff is so lovely. I was about ten minutes late as I was driving from Riverside and hit some gnarly traffic. They still helped me out and didn’t make me feel bad for being late. Liz is the agent who helped me with my photo and my application. She was so incredibly friendly and made sure that all of my questions were answered. Liz was also very informative and let me know what the next steps were, how to track my application progress, etc. They office sells money orders to send with your passport application to the Department of State for a dollar and change. They only accept cash or check, no debit cards but that’s also stated online and there is plenty of signage for your awareness. I didn’t have a wait time. I was seen immediately, as I was the only person there. Overall a pretty easy process so long as you have all of the documentation you need. The Clerk website lists exactly what you’ll need and you can find that information anywhere online as well. It’s worth it to take a few minutes to research all of that before you go. That’s how I was in and out in about 20 minutes.Traveling is exciting and the process of getting ready can be overwhelming but they truly alleviated a lot of the stress I initially felt. Thank you for a smooth experience."
"Pretty simple process if you have all your documents in order the best thing to do was to I got my old school records I took pictures of five different articles of identification with my pictures on it I over done it but it took a total of maybe 16 days after I filed and I got my passport my suggestion if you plan on traveling a lot get the 52-page book and the card"
"I applied for a passport on a Thursday morning and I was in and out of there in less than an hour. The building is well kept and clean and the workers are courteous and knowledgeable. Only issues I saw was that you must pay with cash or check, and there was only one line. There were multiple passport representatives but only one person to check you in. Finally, there is free parking available. The parking garage is located on the south side of the building on W Ash Street."
"If you let your passport expire past the time you're able to renew by mail, and you end up doing the walk-in thing, expect to wait for about 3 hours to get it done. The line will stretch from the counter to Otay. Don't do it. On the positive side, there is a parking garage, the employees are pretty nice and they're efficient as they can, they have photo services if you need it, and there is an ATM on site to pay with cash. Otherwise, bring like 3 blank checks with your application. If you can, renew by mail. Renew by mail. RENEW. BY. MAIL."
