"Great dog park with friendly dogs and people! I'm only taking off one star (and writing this review) because two times ago when I came here, in the chaos of getting my excited dog out of the car, I forgot to lock my car. My credit cards and ID were stolen out of the car and immediately tried at the Walmart down the street for $$$$. The next time we went, a man was reaching over the fence from the outside into the park trying to touch my dog. He did not have a dog of his own and kept asking me if my dog was friendly. I didn't think much of it until someone pointed out that his car was still running in the middle of the street in the parking lot, and he kept looking back at it. He ended up moving it and parking it right next to the fence, but he got out and left his car running. He proceeded to enter the park and look at dogs, all while his car was still sitting there running, windows open. It just seemed very odd. I'm not sure what he was trying to do, but his reaching over the fence for my small dog while his car was running did not put me at ease. Because this park is so busy on the weekends, stay very vigilant if you have a dog that likes to explore/tends to leave your side. Because the park is right next to the parking lot, I now see how easy it would be for someone to take a dog if that was their goal. Great dog park, but it may not be the safest."
"Great clean place ..lots of water and restrooms are clean for the public..good places to sit abd watch our canines enjoy friends. I highly recommend. My German shepard.."Gepard" loves it"
"My dog, Uno, and I come out to exercise every single day for hours! We’ve been doing this for years. I’ve met thousands of dogs here and had thousands of experiences with each one- no joke! Some of my favorite dogs that come out: Roxie, Otis, Ash, Champ, Leía, Captain, Newo, Juniper, Bailey, Knox, Rocco, Disco, Blackjack, ‘Mit, Thunder, Archie, Eddie…just to name a few! I’ll keep adding new names over time. I can genuinely say that each experience I’ve had playing “keep away” with each dog and a tennis ball has been very meaningful to me. I’ve enjoyed getting to know each person and their dog. I purposefully go out of my way to hear others’ stories and I’ve really enjoyed being known and remembered by all the dogs and their owners! Amenities: • Water Stations (water fountains for humans & dogs) • Public restrooms available • Open Soccer field nearby • Fenced enclosure • Separate Areas (large & small dogs) • Waste Stations (bags available) • Agility course; tires, poles, pipes, and teeter-totter. • Walking paths and trails • Seating and shade available • Informational signage (when the dog park will close for routine maintenance, when it’s open, and if any new updates are expected) • Double-gates Entry • Astroturf (artificial grass, with automated sprinkler systems that turn on after hours to clean and help regulate) • Daily Maintenance & Grounds Keeping by the city • Lighting available after the Sun goes down (flood lights/street lights over the entire park)"
"Great dog park. Astroturf is so nice for those days after a lot of rain. Dogs still get to play bit don't come hone covered in mud. The people there are also always responsible pet owners and friendly."
