Deep Well Trailhead - Warner Park

"Much less crowded than Radnor. Some Hikes have short steep hills and others are flat. Fields and woodlands. Lots of parking in the Percy/Edwin Warner complex of parks."

"It's pretty easy as long as you stay on the marked trails. Great place and I'll definitely be coming back again and again."

"Phenomenal hike! We did an 11 mile loop and I would not recommend this trail for beginners. There are areas where it's fairly easy to slide around on loose rock and the climb to Stone Door from the bottom is strenuous. There are portions of the trail that are easy to moderate as well, so it has a little something for everyone! It's a beautiful hike with unbelievable views! We will be back!"

"I’m rating this from a TRAIL RUNNER perspective. This heavily rooty, loose rock, not-for-the-faint-at-heart, narrow, stone-dirt trail through PW Park is best suited for hikers and semi-athletic walkers. Lots of elevation changes, no panoramic view payoffs, and at-times casually marked turns made for a crazy 6+ mile run that was spent mostly just starting at my feet hoping and trying not to slip and break anything. I’ve run plenty of trails and I wanted to love this one as I’m a big believer in trail running. This trail, total no go for this runner. Again, might be great for hikers and athletic walkers under 60, but that’s really about it."
