We feel like we are in they hands to fix our Nexican documents."
"Trying to get a power of attorney from here I have called over 20 times and have gone in person will no results .I keep calling the number and the 3 extensions given with the notary extension. Provide and left messages no results.I need to get this done and still at square one!"
"It's great. The people working there are nice and helpful. Went in the morning a little less busy. Gave me all the information I needed. Overall it was excellent and efficient."
"My recent visit to the Mexican Consulate for a visa application was a remarkably positive experience. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick and efficient. In particular, Nanci stood out for her professionalism and friendliness. I left the consulate feeling well-assisted and satisfied with the service."
"This is much better than it used to be, but there are still some hurdles to get through. You can go in without an appointment to get your birth certificate. As of June 2023. Ee were told to go imto the Mexican Consulate with a driver's license and our full name, birth date, and place of birth, written on a piece of paper along with $18.00 (cash only) Get there at 10 minutes before 8am, and they will start lining people up at 7:55am. If you don't speak Spanish, they do get an attitude towards you. The lady that helped us kept speaking in Spanish even though we replied as best we could in English. She continued to try to force it until she finally had to speak to us in English and even then she still would revert to Spanish and had a condescending attitude You have to make an appointment for a passport, but if you try the website, it can take weeks before there's an opening in San Jose and you have to check every day a few times a day. Once we were in there, things were pretty fast overall."
