"We have eaten at Okawa about a half dozen times now, and have a pretty good feel for the menu. Their sashimi items reflect absolutely meticulous attention to detail. Tonight I had the Otoro. The quality is amazing. I continued with a mixed shrimp and scallops hibachi. They originally served this dish on a hot salt slab. I was really wondering if I would miss this feature, but I don’t. I recommend the hibachi dishes (chicken, shrimp, etc). My wife usually gets the chicken, and we share. They are served with fresh vegetables, cooked in a garlic mixture. I have been opting for the fried rice, rather than white rice. Be careful about ordering the fried rice. It is not just good. It is exceptional. Because of this, I eat a lot more in one sitting. You have been warned. This is a clean, efficiently run, tastefully appointed restaurant. I have eaten just rolls, just nigiri, and family dishes here. Compared to similar restaurants in the region, and, believe me, I have tried most of them, this is top notch."

"This place was not too busy. Our sever Kristi was awesome. The food was great. Loved the fried oysters. They have very reasonable lunch specials. Lunch specials come with soup and salad, both. A great verity to choose from. It was clean, and so were the restrooms. It was quit in there."

Flavor, you will never complain, customer service is at its best, food presentation is very pleasing, and the atmosphere is very inviting and welcoming.
