"This is about Safeway at 424 Howe Avenue in Sacramento, CA 95825, store 190 Director: Ja Naya Royal. I just love this place, always has a positive shopping experience. It's clean, well organized and convenient location for us. Stormy is the best forever. Naiiyahh is an awesome cashier, usually takes care of all the self-serve kiosks in the front. Naiiyahh is always friendly, resourceful, quick, efficient and pleasant to deal with. I just want to thank these two store associates mentioned above, and thank the director of showing my husband and I how to "navigate" the Shop for U deals and digital coupons, it took us forever to "get" it, but we're getting the hang of it now and we love it. "The Safeway in the UV (University Village) at the corner of Howe Ave and Fair Oaks Blvd is one of the older Safeway supermarkets. The store layout is not as good as the newer ones they opened in recent years. The parking lot is also too busy in the evening when all the restaurants in the same shopping center are open for business. I have not been able to find a parking space many times in the evening! The best time to shop in this Safeway is earlier in the morning before 11:30 am or after 8 pm."

"I can not even give this store one star. Only gave one so I could post.The service is HORRIBLE. The cashier didn’t even speak and looked like she definitely did NOT want to be there. The bagging clerk had absolutely NO idea how to bag groceries. Was trying to put fresh bananas at the very bottom of the bag with other fresh produce and then place heavy cans milk and yogert on top. Then was very annoyed when I said please don’t put the heavy stuff on top. Also they had A LOT of expired produce and could not find an employee anywhere to point that out. Definitely will be finding another store to spend my money in. Very sad."

"The donuts are made fresh daily and when I soaked my jaws around them, my tastebuds melted. Most importantly, the price of a donuts is less than $2. Great deal."

"On Monday Morning I Went Into Safe Way And Purchased Their Turkey Pot Pie For My Lunch. After Warming The Turkey Pot Pie I Had Anticipated Upon For Half Of The Day As It Sat In The Fridge Waiting My Moment To Devour It. I Began To Eat It And Realized I Was Eating A Pile Of Turkey Slices Inside Of What Was Suppose To Be A Turkey Pot Pie. I Hadn't Gone In For A Turkey Sandwich I Thought I Had Purchased A Pot Pie. Very Disappointed."
