"We live around the corner from this popular Ramen Restaurant and we finally went in and tried their namesake dish. It was early for dinner' around 5:15PM, and the friendly waitress sat my wife and I in the window. We were both hungry after a day of hanging out at Baker Beach so my wife ordered the Spicy Fuku Red Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen and I had the traditional Fuku Tonkotsu Ramen. Serendipitously, they had $1 beer on special and we both chose a Sapporo which were served in perfectly frosted beer tankards. Iced waters arrived as well, and we were all set. It's a popular neighborhood place and within a few minutes a family of 4 showed up, and not long after, a table of 6 sat down and ordered. The Restaurant itself is spotless, and I liked the butcher-block table tops and comfortable chairs. Our food came quickly and it was delicious! The two servers checked in to make sure we were doing okay, and their timing was perfect when we finished our main course. Also on special was a free scoop of ice cream and my wife and I both ordered the excellent Matcha flavor. All in all, we had a perfect experience, the food was very tasty (the broth tasted rich and yummy - just how we were expecting). The service was excellent, the decor and ambiance clean and comfortable. We'll be back with our eighteen year old twins when they come from college next month!"

"Fuku Chicken Karaage Ramen narrowly misses 4 stars. Good pork broth, quintessentially chewy noodles. The fried chicken itself however lacked much crunch (even for the dry parts of crust) and tasted of simply chicken, salt and deep-fried starch. A stale interior."

"Tasty, very reasonably priced, very attentive service - the fuku chicken karaage ramen was scrumptious, and it came with a scoop of matcha ice cream. Can't go wrong here. Decor is a little spartan, but we came for the noodles :)"
