About the Conejo Community Park
Conejo Community Park, also known as “Dover and Hendrix Park”, is a beautiful 38.4-acre property located in Thousand Oaks, California. This park, transferred to the Conejo Recreation and Park District in 1972, features oak-studded hillsides, reservable facilities, picnic areas, and a ballfield. It is also home to the popular Summer Concerts in the Park series, held in the sloped lawn amphitheater. The community center building, completed in 1965 with the help of volunteers, is currently undergoing a redesign with input from the community. Visitors can enjoy the park from October to March from 7:00am to 6:00pm, and from April to September from 7:00am to 8:00pm. Field conditions can be checked by calling the Field Conditions Line at 805-381-1236. The park is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 7:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and Sunday from 12noon to 5:00pm. Don't forget to fill out the website feedback form to help improve your experience at Conejo Community Park! Visit https://www.crpd.org/cccproject for updates on the ongoing redesign project.

Reviews of Conejo Community Park
"Very nice park, but the portable toilet was locked shut and the kids had to walk 1/4 mile to use the next one. They paid to rent that picnic table area????"
"Nice and beautiful park with lot of entertainment for your kids. The playground is awesome. It has a botanical garden which is full of interesting flowers, trees and animals such as squirrels and rabbits playing around. It has an open grass area for family picnics or to practice sports. I highly recommend it!"
"A huge park with good parking. The kids loved the play area with the rocks and ropes to climb, which is nicely located next to a shaded picnic area."
"Just a regular neighborhood park. Pleasant and noise free. Kids have football training sessions in the morning some days. Not a very huge park it’s a small park. Don’t plan to do anything other than a walk or a run. Not a place to picnic but you will have pleasant time if you plan to go here. Kids can play and I’m not sure if pets are allowed. I have not seen any. Make sure you take your own water bottles as the water fountain in the park has water that you probably won’t like."
