I’ve gotten 3 tattoos at RicRoks over the last 4 months and even brought my mom in for her first tattoo! The luna was my first tattoo and Ric was so warm and welcoming. He answered all my questions and made me feel relaxed. I was so happy with my Luna and his attention to detail is amazing. I love the small details in the eye and eyebrow. Paula did my other two tattoos and I fell in love with her tattoo style. Her fine line work, and detailed designs are both delicate and beautiful. Paula also did my mom’s first tattoo (the heart design with the flowers). My mom was very happy with her design and really appreciated that she was able to speak Spanish with everyone at the shop. She commented how warm everyone is and really appreciated Paula’s warm energy and good vibes. They're known for their fine line tattoos, which some traditionalists will try to dismiss, but the skill, knowledge, and experience at this shop means you won't face the usual issues that can happen with fine line work if it's not done right. I always go to Paula, an incredibly talented Latina artist who's great at ornamental and delicate pieces. She's got a background in classical art and is amazing at turning my ideas into incredible designs, always nailing the placement and look so they age well. Paula learned from Ric, who's not only a master himself but has also trained a bunch of great artists, including his son Andrew, who tattoos there too. The shop's more than just tattoos; they're truly a part of the community, hosting meditation and sound bath sessions every Wednesday night. If you're looking for fast and cheap work, this is not the place. They are worth every penny, and take their time to make something you'll be proud to have on you forever."
