"Need to save money and obtain name brand products - look no further than Grocery Outlet. At least 50% off normal pricing!"
"This Grocery Outlet is the worst one I have ever been to! I usually drive all the way out to the Chino Hills location operated by a different owner. I went into get healthy food at this location on Euclid in Ontario today because it’s closer to my house and I am recovering from pneumonia. Until today, I have been bedridden for a week. Coming to this location turned out to be the biggest mistake I could have made all day. At checkout I tried making casual conversation with the cashier about how their Ontario mural near the front entrance has a misspelling of “HOM” instead of “HOME”. Her response, she says she never looks at the mural. Mind you, she was facing it at the first cash register when I walked up. Ok. That should have been my first indication that this person is not particularly detail oriented. But I didn’t think anything of it at the time. I tell her I have a balance of $46 for Food on my EBT card and I would pay the remainder with my credit card. I scan my card, select EBT, Food, Purchase, enter my PIN, press Enter. She says I have insufficient funds. However, she can’t figure out why she sees $42 more dollars though. This is because she only entered $4.60, not the specified $46.00. It took me asking her to get her manager to figure that out. When I told the manager she made a mistake, the manager even lied to my face and told me she didn’t make a mistake. I explained, she entered $4.60, not $46.00, that’s a mistake. This agitated her because she wasn’t even able to fix it on her own. She had to ask another employee to figure out that she needed to void everything and start over. They tried to keep the void transaction receipt from me before ringing everything up again. I demanded to see the voided transaction and took a photo for proof that this issue was because of their errors, not mine. The manager was aggressive and rude. No sense of customer service skills whatsoever. After ringing up the transaction again and charging me the correct amount of $46 on my EBT, I was shaking so bad from the stress and embarrassment of this transaction, that I had to cancel the transaction for almost entering the wrong PIN on the pad. After finally having my EBT used correctly, I had a balance of less than $4. I used the wrong credit card by accident and started to leave because I was feeling so overwhelmed. Three people, including the store owner, immediately started chasing me for that remaining balance. I of course paid with the correct card and proceeded to run out again because I was afraid of further harassment. The owner asked me what’s wrong, what’s going on and I told him to ask his employees or the shoppers who had been waiting behind me for a half hour. The whole process to be checked out for one bag of groceries took over 30 minutes. I have been sick since 12/14/23 and am still suffering from pneumonia. This trip to this Grocery Outlet on Euclid in Ontario has severely negatively impacted my health today. If you want to save time and stress, I recommend drive to a different location that employs detail oriented and friendly workers."
"Absolutely not! Sketchy people in the parking lot, small narrow isles... Musty, dirty, and smelled like dirty socks. The smell was so bad. Very stuffy... I don't know what happened, it wasn't like this before."
"I went in looking for sesame seed protein snack bites and found the best ones yet! They are crisp, thin and taste delicious. Kinda hard to locate them in the store. Only 99 cents a pack! A variety of cold breakfast cereals were price right too."
"Went in to do some shopping for my daughter in law. Very nice little store. Very well organized and stocked. Everyone was very nice and knowledgeable. Great prices."
