"There's ONE employee out of all the rest that's nice and very helpful (she has short hair and Hispanic). I always enjoy saying hello to her. Other than their great produce, their customer service sucks. It's like walking in a cliche in high school. Staff give dirty looks and I've had 2 people I know say they won't shop there solely due to this. I arrived the other night at 8:57 (mind you, Trader Joe's abso would allow you to enter!). The one female staff walking out took her hand across her head, saying no, no way, we're closed. I said what you're closed and she rudly said "WE'RE CLOSED!!" I am a person I don't shy away from confrontational situations, so I'll go back on principle alone and to get my Mexican papaya. The owner really should address the staff attitudes."

"They have a variety of products plus they’re nicely organized. I could say the owners are Persian. Many of the stuff they have are overpriced. It might be due to the area. Not a pleasant experience for me personally since, first butcher area staff are rude. Second, they have many products that are “made in Israel” which I will never buy or support. I had to leave the place as soon. I won’t be back."

"The best halal meat I have tasted. I have been making chicken and beef kabobs every other week because they have such fresh meat. Other products are excellent as well but a bit pricey. Vegetables are fantastic and reasonably priced."

"I have been coming here for many years. I agree with other reviews that say that some products might be sometimes expired or not fresh. Don't relax and watch out for expiration dates and other signs of "not today" , but overall this is a very good place. Small but with great assortment of ethnic food and products. Great for buying seasonal produce at a good price. Staff is 90% very friendly and helpful with rare exceptions."

"Great place to bring the family. The produce is always fresh and clean. They have many organic options as well as cultural delicatessens for those who crave the comforts of their home country. Been coming here for a year now and I recommend this place over sprouts Whole Foods and all the other clowns out there."
