"Nice backwater place to slip a boat or kayak in. It can be congested at times. It really just depends on when you are putting in. They have a picnic area with grills for family day out. And a playground for the kids."

"I love coming down here, it's close to Joelton where I live. We love the boat ramp here, it's not steep, which I only have a jet ski. But the ones with bigger boats come here because they have more ramp, where as on the river like in the campground they say it drops off. We've actually had to go out and lift the trailer up where it fell off (at the campground) it was a long pontoon trailer. Sycamore Creek Rec. Is NO WAKE Zone until you get to the main river. Wear your life Jackets..."
