"Every once in a while someone makes an effort that truly makes a difference in your day. I had such an experience last Saturday with Claudia in the bakery department at the 130 W Lincoln Anaheim Vons. I desperately needed a Bluey birthday cake for my 2 year old granddaughter's birthday. She was visiting from out of state and we made a last minute decision to celebrate one week early on Saturday, her last day here, so our whole family could celebrate together. At 6:30am Saturday, I started calling each Vons bakery to see if this was even possible. The first 5 stores I called said they needed 24 hours notice, as this was their usual policy, and none were available to make the cake for me by 5pm that night. That is, until I reached Claudia on my final call. Claudia immediately asked me if I'd accept an 8" round cake, as she had a fresh one available, and not only did she agree to decorate it with the Bluey design we requested, but she said it would be available by noon. She then mentioned that due to a morning parade causing local road closures, I might even want to come a little later to avoid delays. I was ecstatic!!! Not only was she going to make my cake, but her thoughtfulness in communicating the potential traffic delays was something I sincerely appreciated due to my busy day of last minute party planning. I picked the cake up shortly after 1pm, the parade was over, the cake was ready as promised, and it looked absolutely adorable!! My granddaughter was entranced when she saw her favorite Bluey on the cake, and thought I was the best grandmother ever! It would have been so easy for Claudia to tell me no, but she didn't. What a special contribution she made to our day, and what a special memory she helped create for our whole family."

"Customer service is awful and your lucky if you get any, most of the time your in self check out being coached how to do it for some reason. They are a couple cashier's who are always friendly and helpful. Overall I hate this store and hate that it is the closest one to me and will gladly drive to Tustin just to have a better store to shop at."

"Able to clip and use digital coupons. Great selection of pretty much anything you can look for in a grocery store. They were out of one specific item I was going to by but otherwise got everything I needed. Still a little more expensive than my regular grocery store but food and produce was fresh and good I'll go back."

"Me&my lady had a great experience. Theresa was very helpful helping us with digital coupons. She was very patient with us both. Theresa is the best! Ty Theresa for all you do for Vons market!"

"Only reason I’m giving a 1 star is because I can’t rate 0 stars. I came here 10 mins before closing and the bagger said “there’s not enough time.” I told her I have 10 mins and I just need to grab something really quick. She proceeded to shut the door. Definitely haven’t ever come across customer service this terrible and rude."
