"Staff laughed at me when I was threatened and called antichrist by other patients and was never offered to change wings or have any sort of security. Literally said "what do you want me to do about it" I said keep me safe and she laughed, the rest of the staff refused to do anything as well. I saw them repeatedly inject people who had done nothing but calmly and repeatedly ask to leave after their 3 day hold was up which you have every legal and HUMAN right to do. Go to hell."
"Honestly in all is a bad experience for your loved ones dont bring them here i get calls my wife is crying because she is pregnant and they are not properly caring for her nutrition o health yes they are sweet but what does that matter if the patient is uncomfortable the doctor she spoke said shes have to stay only 1 night its been 2 nights already and 3 days yet they still cant tell me why shes there or how much longer shes there honestly what bugs me more is that she was sent there for "HELP" yet they are not helping at all and she wants out already but they are pretty much "FORCING HER TO STAY"!!! Down right a bad place for your loved ones disgusting"
"LONG POST BUT WORTH THE READ: DO NOT WORK OR SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE! For starters, this is a place that is focused on money and not focused on the care of the patients. DO NOT LET THEM LIE TO YOU. From walking into the door to leaving was horrible. the Receptionist when i came in was talking to another worker ; who i later found out was the patient advocate (mexican lady) were talking about a patient out in the open in front of family member. I sat in admissions for almost 5 hours "waiting for a room" but the truth was nobody was discharged yet for me to get a room. the assessment is a waste of time because regardless of what you say if insurance said you were approved for a certain amount of days then YOU ARE STAYING! does not matter if you have a mental health issue or not. If you have meal issues like diabetic, etc etc they DO NOT Comply with those needs, there is one meal served for breakfast, one meal served for lunch and one served for dinner, there are no substitutions made for people that do not eat pork, are diabetic, bulimic, can only have non dairy, They will not meet the needs of your family member. I was a patient on Adult 1 ( and i feel sorry for the workers). you are sending your family member here to be put in a pod, they will take 2 "Group" meetings a day, the group meeting are the patients chilling and watching tv, and the times that we were not allowed our room we had to sit in the group room and find something to do. i did not talk to a doctor except in the admissions room and on my 5th day in the facility to tell me i was going home. i was told that the only way i was getting out of the facility is if i took the medicine that they were trying to give me. i over heard a patient talking to a doctor ( in the hallway i might add) the doctor stated that the medicine was helping and he told the doctor he never took and medicine he was cheeking the medicine and spitting it out. they tested his system and his system was clean of any medicine. they told him he must stay unless he take the medicine. i also over heard two nursers talking about a nurse OD'ing in the medicine room ; these are nurses , with licensees (lovely for the patients to hear) the state is there EVERYDAY and if not everyday EVERYWEEK. due to complaints from past employees! The employees have sooooo many EEOC and compliance claims against this company due to a range of things from the nurses to the HR department, to the managers, the patients, the business office, PAYROLL quit due to the drama going on at this place. DO NOT WORK HERE nurses on the floor are 14 patients to one nurse. We as the patients are being stuffed with medicine and when insurance says there are done paying then " they have done all that they can for your loved one" the geriatric floor is NOT the geriatric floor. it is a mixed floor of everyone! they are SEVERLY understaffed to the point they are now using staffing agencies. the behavioral health tech make below nothing to be spit on, kicked, cussed out, groped ( employee has a lawsuit because a patient grabbed her in between her legs and she was told there was nothing she could do) and for the company to not have there back. If you are homeless; THIS is a place if you want a free meal and a bed for 5 days. there are so many homeless people with "good" insurance ( as they say) in here that they cannot help but are admitted here. They had a lady come and quote me for 7 days worth of stay on my second day here even though she did not know if i was going to be here 7 days. Said it was hospital policy ( if that does not say they are after money) Out of everyone in the " head people hallways" only 2 people were active with he patients, the tall black guy and they lady i believe her name stars with Ray. Everyone else stood around watching the patients go wild. NOBODY is trained properly. not one person in the building they go through what you call fast track training , orientation for 2 days then with the patients on the 4th day. DO NOT WORK HERE AND DO NOT COME HERE! it is not worth the trauma, coming from a patient !"
"I watched another patient practically beg for their inhaler and get told to wait. The facility is terribly understaffed, forcing them to hold on to nurses and techs that disrespect and outright ignore patients. There were 20 of us at one point to four employees. I was in over the weekend, so I attended probably three meaningful groups in five days. For reference, there are meant to be four or five groups a day. The nature of a facility like this in that you’re herded around like a toddler doesn’t mean I need to get treated and talked to like one as well."
"I'm telling you after the experience my husband went through here I sincerely WOULD NOT send anyone here. The treatment he got here was just atrocious. He asked for catheters and was told to wait or can't you hold it. He told them he couldn't eat what was provided because it made him sick he was told to eat it or do without. He was up and told them he wasn't tired and was made to go to an 8x10 room because the nurses said he was listening to them then he was made to go to bed against his wishes. He kept telling them they didn't have all his medicine and they would never put in all of his medications so he went without several medications the entire time he was there and he said something SEVERAL times to the nurses, the psychiatrist, and several people there and no one listened to him. With someone with cancer and not having the correct medication that is a problem. Finally, he was given advise by the therapist/ physiatrist that just made things worse when he was discharged. All he keeps telling me now is he wished he would have never went to the hospital in the first place. Someone going through the issues he's been having and making that comment is just awful because he felt cared for at the initial hospital that he went to, but once he was transferred here, it all went down hill. I strongly encourage everyone to stay away from here whether it's for yourself or a family member."
