"The best thing is the meat counter. Produce looks like leftovers from the swap meet. Kind of pricey. Cashier was pleasant. It used to be a great store when I was a kid. It has been there as long as I can remember. It's too bad it's not what it used to be, far from it."

"Meat and veggies are always the freshest and cheapest in this part of town. Sometimes things are priced wrong in checkout, so just keep an eye on it and be friendly. The cashiers are friendly to you if you are friendly to them, especially if you become familiar with them and speak a little Spanish and want to practice. I think if you're a Caucasian speaking Spanish, you have to feel out which language the person you're dealing with is interested in using. In my experience, everyone here is friendly if you make an effort to be friendly yourself."

"It's really nice to have a little market in the neighborhood, and the prices are reasonable, however the produce is Very Ripe! And needs to be cleaned up and rotated. The Meat counter is Excellent!!!! Their selection of Meat is fantastic and very fresh. The Employees are Absolutely Wonderful and helpful."
