"Most of the Staff at the ER are part of the "Society" Health System. Most were involved in sororities and fraternities. Spoiled rich kids. They are put there to make your experience the worst it has ever been. Because they think that they are changing things, by crashing the system. So they will play their games, because their fat cat employers tell them too. If people die, they die. Also many are mad about Roe/Wade being overturned. So they figure you must suffer for what our politicians and judges have done. Even though most of us have no political say, one way or another. You see, for them, the end justifies the means. You are in their way. Nothing personal. They just don't like middle aged people or elderly folks sucking up all their medicare and social security. These young millennial hospital employees would rather see every middle aged and elderly person put on hospice care, if they had their way. Because they see us as a bunch of useless eaters, that gambled their future away. They forget that they will be old and sick one day. Who will give them grace and mercy when their time comes. They all have neglected the oath they have taken. First do no harm. Remember, they can't sympathize with us. Because we are the enemy."
"Do not use this ER if you have any other options. I have never encountered such unprofessional nurses in my life. There was a blonde maybe in her mid to late twenties named Megan and a brunette in her forties that came in later. Both were incredibly rude in response to normal medical interaction. Why did they roll their eyes so much?! In response to normal answers? “How did you injure your leg?” “Sports” eye roll. “Do you have any pain?” “Not really.” Eye roll. “Why are you here?” “My kneecap is in the wrong place and I can’t walk” eye roll. “You should wear a knee brace during sports” eye roll. “I do” eye roll. “ You really need to wear braces” “I..I do.” Eye roll. I just needed an X-ray to determine if there were any broken bones. I wasn’t loud or demanding treatment. It was a surreal and weird experience. I can’t imagine how people are treated when they come in experiencing trauma that won’t allow them to stay calm. If you don’t like people or your job, find a different job. The early twenties brunette nurse that discharged me and helped me to the car was delightful and helpful. Replace the others with more like her please. The X-ray tech and doctor were also very kind and helpful. I have two friends that worked as nurses here previously. Both moved to other facilities because of the poor work environment. The two horrible nurses definitely did nothing to dispel any negative preconception here."
"IF YOU NEED IMMEDIATE CARE AND ARE NOT IN AN AMBULANCE OR HELICOPTER DO NOT COME HERE!!! not sure though if even then this would improve MY EXPERIENCE 9/29 2:30 pm to 9:50 pm I had fainted at a local restaurant, collapsing to the floor. I busted up my face and needed possible stitches on my lip because I bit through it. It was continually bleeding. My amazing husband brought me here because it was about 2:30 pm on a Friday and he thought we could be seen promptly. I wasn't sure since for a prior kidney stone issue he arrived and waited for 12 hours to see a doctor. I thought well it was after hours of regular business so being late in an evening on a midweek it could be crowded and behind. That was the reason to have such a TERRIBLE WAIT FOR AN ER. This time WAS NO DIFFERENT sadly. As I arrived at 2:30 pm and was registered, in triage by 3:50 pm. I thought I was on a good pace. By 4:30 pm, I had my CT, X-RAY, and EKG and they were entered into my portal since my primary provider is a doctor at UT. I really felt dizzy, imbalanced and just malaise. This is where I can't BELIEVE what happened...By 9:45 pm I HAD NOT SEEN A DOCTOR. Getting a Tylenol for pain which I asked for many times didn't happen. I had IV fluids connected to me and IT WAS EMPTY for at least an hour. They kept announcing they needed wheelchairs so people could be discharged so I gave mine up took my IV off and used the pincher to seal my IV closed!!! With my swollen, and couldn't get anyone many times to get me ice in a bag once the other one melted, and again NO PAIN med for my pain, MANY TIMES AFTER 7 PM I HAD NO ONE WHO COULD EVEN GET ME ICE FOR MY BLEEDING SWOLLEN FACE!! I KNEW I was not hurting from a break anywhere but really figured if I was I would get that pain later and leave the ER. I signed out AMA, against medical advice when honestly I HAD NO MEDICAL ADVICE GIVEN FROM MY ENTRANCE AT 2:30 UNTIL 9:45 FRIDAY 9/29! So really it wasn't against anything. Only go to the ER if you have wonderful patience and prepare to bring change for a snack and drink money and ice for any injury with a baggie. And don't forget a seat cushion. The chairs are not as comfortable as you may think. HOPE THIS SAVES SOME FROM THE HORROR FOUND AT UT ER. The first one is in the ER and others are the after photos showing that this fall was so bad that I didn't even get treated properly. I never got stitches and if I scar I will wear it as a warning AVOID THIS ER AT ALL COST. ONLY WITH AMBULANCE OR HELICOPTER COULD YOU MAYBE BE SEEN IN A TIMELY MANNER"
"This is from room 36 in the emergency. I get that everything is going up in price, but good lord. No wonder why everyone is getting sick when they visit the hospital. Not only will the visit cost a fortune, but they're also charging you to drop people off. I think it was only 2$, but I wasn't even parking, and they still wanted money. This use to be a very good hospital, but now I'd rather go somewhere else and dare I say, probably Tennova. At least they have cleaning and better equipment. The staff seems pretty nice, but they've forgotten about us a few times, or at least it feels like it. We haven't seen anyone in hours, and we're just waiting on a CT scan. This place is getting ridiculous."
