"Paid a lot of money and was told it would help keep bugs and rodents out as well as leaves. I was told would add value to home. Look at the photo and it will tell you the truth. Horrible install and they don’t stand behind the product. Walk by this company and hire someone else."
"Shawn did a great job in explaining the product. We have had alot of leaves and rain and the product does work. When it rains I can hear the water gushing down the downspouts. The service and warranty are also great."
"This company uses an answering service to book appointments. Unfortunately, they do not work with Project Management/ Superintendent personnel to provide services to customers. I am a Superintendent for a family and over thier homes and businesses for all maintenance, repairs and projects. The "appointment setter" would not make the appointment with "me" repeatedly citing "we need to meet the home owner". Thats not an option as the home owner does not want to meet gutter companies. That's why they have a Superintendent. I'll never work with companies like this. 1/3 Dear Leaf Filter, I do appreciate your quick reply. However, my terrible experience of sourcing a company to work for my client began with your horrible booking service. My reviews of my experience will remain. Not only was your associate off putting in his refusal to simply book an appointment for the free estimate, he repeatedly insulted me personally as though I wasn't in position to request services for my client. Research for yourself. The line was recorded. You will be able to clearly hear my frustration grow as your associate continues to question my authenticity in some sort of unwarranted vetting. I am not interested in "researching my inconviences" with your support staff. I can only assume that they too are a "service" Leaf Filter utilizes. Along with that, one would only assume that Leaf Filter sub contracts all services. I bet your reply was generated by a 3rd party! Not interested in your products. Thank you."
"I had been having a few problems with my gutters getting clogged and with drainage at the back. I wasn't 100% sure I wanted to spend so much money on new gutters but already I can see that it was a wise investment. Not only will I never have to clean out the gutters, but the Leaf Filters look nice on the house. Now that it has rained, I can see that they have also helped with a drainage problem that I had been watching. The salesperson and installer were very courteous and helpful. They were able to save some of my gutters and replaced others, adding a drain pike. The installer cleaned up after himself and was very professional and skillful. I couldn't believe he did the entire job in one day with no help. If you have trees, I recommend this product without reservation. I also like the lifetime guarantee."
"If you watch the videos and ads that LeafFilter post / run, you get the impression that a professional looking crew will show up at your home. Instead, a sub contractor in multiple cars that leaked oil all over our driveway is what showed up. Originally, the first installer was given the wrong day so when he showed up we weren’t home. You would think after that mistake the crew would show up on time on the correct day. Not so, I got a call saying they were running late because they were in training. I’m sorry but if you have appts scheduled should you not arrange training around the customer? When they do arrive, they all unload out of the cars and not one has on any identifying clothing or hat as to who they work for nor identify themselves. Not a good idea in this city in the current climate. It became obvious very quickly that out of the 9 who showed up that only two had any experience. Come to find out, the other 7 were family members of the sub contractor. It’s great that he wants to give them an opportunity to learn a skill but several left and the others should have. There was a child brought with them which was as sweet as could be but not the way to do business. The gentleman who was the sub contractor and the ONE actual employee of LeafFilter were extremely nice, respectful young men. Several things had to be corrected prior to their leaving but to our knowledge those two made sure it was done. 14 oil spots left on our driveway after they left, not a good thing. Someone is supposed to come out and fix that, a week later, we shall see. Once they have your money, your only option is to call their 800 number. Had I known before signing the contract what the experience would be with LF, we would not have done business with them and will mot be recommending them. They even mentioned out roofers (new roof put on the day before) did half the job for them by cleaning gutters out. Will update if oil spots removed."
