Reviews of Killefer Park
"i go for my runs here. good place, could be better. it is dog friendly -- i see many people walk/play with the dogs here. others use the grass for some kind of picnic. the restroom could be better -- it is a mobile toilet which isn't in a great shape. some part of the park is probably only open to the school."
"My kids had fun here. It's a neighborhood park so it's small but we'll kept, clean and has a big grass field with trees and a baseball area. There is a portable bathroom so I could not give if five. Would be a good place for a small party. Nice hidden gem."
"The playground area feels like an afterthought. There's no bathroom and the playground itself is very small. No protection from the sun so the slides are very hot! Doesn't really feel like a park and more of a connection to the high school. It's better to take your kids to another playground but an okay spot to relax."
"Went super early , I was going to go play fetch my dog. I decided to go there because it was completely empty. I was like perfect, some fetch, some training. Immediately as I stepped foot on the grass some guy told me I cant have my dog there. And he can't be off leash . The park was empty. It was 7am. I had leash with me, just in case. If I didn't leave he would call the police.. it was empty. Inwe walked away he yelled , dog parks exist. It was a Wednesday. Dog parks are closed. Very rude and condescending"
"Best place to practice soccer by yourself, the back of the handball courts are positioned right in front of the Grass, so the ball bounces right back to you. Went through countless balls and honed my passing, shooting, headers and trapping skills there!! Its a unique place, never have i found another place like it. Its design of course wasn't intended for it but it just works to perfection."
