About the Urban Forest
Urban Forest is a beautiful park and tourist attraction located at 6711 Ellis Avenue in Huntington Beach, California. The institution recently received a generous donation from Chevron for the planting of 50 trees in Huntington Central Park. Visitors can celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the park in 2024 by helping to replace lost trees through donations. The Secret Garden within the park is now open to the public, and visitors can also enjoy the sight of Monarch Butterflies in November. The park is home to a variety of California-native plants and trees, and volunteers work tirelessly to maintain and enhance the green space. Visitors can support the Urban Forest through donations, volunteering, and shopping with Goodshop to contribute a percentage of purchases to HB Trees. The Huntington Beach Tree Society, a non-profit organization, has planted over 8,000 trees in and around the Urban Forest. Bird watchers can also enjoy observing various species in the expanding habitat of the park. For more information and to get involved, visit the Urban Forest website or contact jnagytree@aol.com.

Reviews of Urban Forest
"Best place to watch hummingbirds. Watch out sign for coyotes."
"Beautiful park in a nice neighborhood, part of the Huntington Central Park. In a way it’s like a secret part of the park because you there’s no noticeable sign and parking is very limited (small driveway with about 4-5 spots). The park runs along Ellis St, between Edwards and Goldenwest. We had to park in a neighborhood street, luckily no permit is required. This park is great for pictures, they have a lot of trees, cactus and some flowers. Perfect backdrops all around. I don’t believe there are restrooms in this section of the park."
"I had a great experience when I visited this park, There were plenty of options to take pictures at every corner. The only challenge was to find open parking spots"
"Amazing hidden gem!! Limited parking on the spot but you can always just drive around the corner and walk back."
"What a hidden gem. The beautiful trees, plants and flowers are breath taking. The park has benches and seating to enjoy the atmosphere and a meal. The trick is getting there. We parked our car in the senior center and walked through Central Park and the equestrian center on Edwards then turned on Ellis. It’s a long walk but it’s beautiful walking along the water to get there. Discover and enjoy this cute park which is kept up by volunteers."
