Kids Empire Covina

"My recent visit to Kid Empire was nothing short of a nightmare, and I urge all parents to steer clear of this establishment if they value their children's safety and well-being. My son's birthday celebration quickly turned sour as the staff at Kid Empire proved themselves utterly incompetent in managing disruptive behavior. Despite reports of bullying, physical aggression, and the use of vile language by another party's children, the staff turned a blind eye, allowing the chaos to escalate unchecked. It was appalling to witness the blatant disregard for the safety and happiness of the children present. Instead of taking swift action to address the situation and remove the troublemakers from the premises, the staff seemed more interested in turning a profit than ensuring a safe environment for their patrons. As a result of their negligence, four children from our group were left traumatized, forced to leave the celebration prematurely due to fears of additional physical aggression and name calling from the other party. My son's special day was utterly ruined, tarnished by the toxic atmosphere fostered by Kid Empire's gross mismanagement. I cannot fathom how any establishment claiming to cater to families could allow such abhorrent behavior to thrive. Kid Empire has shown a complete lack of regard for the welfare of its customers, prioritizing profit over decency and common sense. Save yourself the heartache and anguish by avoiding Kid Empire at all costs. It's clear that they care more about lining their pockets than providing a safe and enjoyable experience for children. And don't bother trying to call to express your concerns--there's no number to reach them, further highlighting their lack of accountability and transparency. Even if you manage to get through to a manager, they are powerless to rectify the situation, as the staff is evidently run by a bunch of young kids themselves. Shame on Kid Empire for failing miserably at the most basic duty of ensuring the safety of its young patrons."

"Very fun play indoor playground. Lots of parking, nice staff, and huuuge play area. However the 3 starts is bec of the bathroom. They often get clogged and visitors have to use the bathroom at the neighboring business. Ive been here 2x in the past month and both times the toilet was clogged?! The business owners need to fix that especially in a place w/ lots of kids that need to potty. Other than that great place"

"Visited on Jan. 20. It’s a sizable location but the management had booked 5 birthday parties simultaneously on top of the usual weekend clients, the place was so crowded it was hard to move around; I’m pretty sure exceeding the posted fire-code limit of 397. Both bathrooms were clogged in the overcrowded conditions and overflowed so that toilet water was flowing into the floor adjacent the play area (not good if you have a roomful of kids in socks). The staff onsite was mostly high schoolers, all appeared under 20, none of them seems empowered to try to manage the situation beyond cleanup; so they locked the bathrooms and stopped letting people use them (there were a lot of small kids that this caught by surprise, I’m sure). Disappointing compared to the Rialto location I visited recently; hopefully this was not typical."

"Went to our friends birthday party at kids empire in Covina, the management was very unprofessional and rude. Got the birthday package messed up incorrect wrong pizza was ordered with out checking in and restroom were down for two days and no one was notified, when asked if she could be compensated for the birthday mistakes and restroom issue they said no and when they were told about reporting the issues to OSHA for the restroom facility ring closed manager said “Go ahead so I can leave early and not deal with you people”. May have been a bad day over all but this was not acceptable."

"Great place for both kids and adults. There's even an area to play soccer up there. There's a small area too designated for babies/toddlers. Staff is very nice and helpful. Make sure you have socks, if not you'll have to buy theirs. You can't wear your shoes once you get in the gate, there's baskets to place them in and take with you. But at least you can put them on to use restroom. They sell a variety of snacks and beverages."
