"Terrific little community park. A narrow strip of land but intimate with a large grassy area, children's playground, and large sandbox. A few benches"
"Clean park, no homeless people when I visited the park. Talking about them, our brothers in need, I understand that they need our help and compassion, and we (as Californians) pay taxes that in part need to be used to find a respectful, dignified, controlled place to live with care. They cannot keep living in the streets, with limited access to food, or a clean healthy environment. They need a place where donations can be sent, and where we can go to offer help. And I'm not talking about this because "I reject them and I don't want to see them". No! I'm saying that we, humanity, are supposed to be an evolved society that cares. We need to start to improve our social environment, with more interaction, fewer drugs, etc. After all, AI will make most of us unemployed, therefore we need to change, mature, and go to our roots to be more social and less "self-centered". Remember his words in the gospel of Saint Matthew 25: 35-36 "For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me." As I said before, dignity and respect, for all."
"The park itself was very welcoming and clean. The fence around the playground was really reassuring so that I could let my son run around without much worry. The worry, however, began when a transient woman entered the park and verbally accosted everyone around one by one, eventually threatening me and that's when we called it quits. Lovely park but probably won't return."
"Cozy local park that is great for picnics, sports & games, fitness, dog walking, or reading a book. There are playgrounds for children on either end. The playground has incredible fun things for children--great slides and climbing pieces with sand for the kids to play in. The park is very secluded and hidden from dirty streets and shady areas. On occasion, it will be occupied by a few homeless. It's not a pretty sight, but they tend to keep to themselves and do not appear to be dangerous."
"Arrived at this park at dusk with my dog. The park was quiet but well traveled by joggers and people out for an evening walk. My dog and I played in the grassy area for about an hour which took us well into the night. I never felt uncertain or afraid for my safety. I didn't see one homeless person either. If you are interested in seeing this cute little park don't let the other reviews that report so many homeless people keep you away. The area must have been cleaned up somehow because I saw no signs of homeless problems. The park has a wonderful feeling of intimacy being sandwiched between two narrow streets with houses framing the park. I think it's a special little park that you won't find anywhere else."
