"Visited the museum for the first time, nice displays of local agricultural history, interactive activities for kids, worth a visit when in the area, staff members courteous and knowledgeable."
"A small museum with a small gift shop. A fast stop/visit for about 45 minutes is enough. Restrooms available. Parking plenty. Very friendly staff."
"Very easy location to find, free parking, clean and well stocked facilities. We were lucky to get in with free admission, they'll take donations also. Small exhibit but informative, staff very friendly and helpful."
"Fantastic museum filled with well preserved agricultural equipment. There are some wonderful areas for children to play and participate in hands on learning activities. Theres a nice dress up area, a little horse for the kids to ride and some of the equipment is even accessible for the children and those young at heart to climb aboard. We attended on their agricultural day and it was a really nice event with food trucks and live music. We had a great time and will definitely return."
"This was our third stop on our Santa Paula "Passport 2 History" excursion. This museum is fantastic as they have a whole room with things for kids to do! And we're not just talking pressing buttons... They have a whole store set up where the kids can dress up, go shopping, put food in their carts, bring it to the check out, pay with play money... and more! There are toys, games, and many workstations where kids can play! The rest of the museums has large tractors and stuff like that, and they even had a tractor and horse and buggy set up for kids to go on! You could definitely spend a lot of time here if you let your kid just play. There's an outdoors area too. The gift shop was nice, but what I liked best is that they sell authentic, vintage citrus labels! The staff here was also wonderful and helpful. As good as some of the other museums we saw that day were... this was our favorite! PS. If you go here, you can get into the Ventura County Museum in Ventura free on the same day! We're so glad we did!"
