"A popular park for picnics, sports, walking, running, skateboarding, and play. There are picnic tables, bike path, children's playground, restrooms, and little league baseball fields. There are natural springs that flow through a creek though the bubbling springs greenbelt to the ocean."
"Good place to share with you family and friends."
"Excellent public park, with some baseball fields and lots of open space."
"The park offers a lot for various activities, from little league baseball diamonds, a play area with a jungle gym and swingset, picnic tables and a lot of grassy areas to spread out. There's a decent walking/biking path that runs through the center along the "stream" and if you follow it you can make your way all the way to Port Hueneme Beach. It's a great place to relax and enjoy nature, take kids or dogs to play, though the "bubbling springs" name is a bit of a letdown since the water is often polluted with trash and debris so it's mostly murky and a little smelly. It's unclear what district oversees this park since it's not technically within the neighboring Oxnard district 6, but I hope that some of the city's resources will go into reinvigorating it into the gem it should be. The waterway is in dire need of a cleanup and probably dredging the sediment so it can flow properly, some maintenance could be improved where erosion has affected embankments/bridge walkways, and honestly it would be fantastic to see local arts programs beautify the space with murals and durable sculpture installations. This is a great space that's wonderfully located near a community center/library and has pathways to a nice beach, it could be so much *more* as a way to benefit the community culture and invite visitors to the area!"
"I walk my dogs here under shade of trees many local families enjoy grounds for picnic and some team sports like baseball played here."
