"Great place to shop decent prices. Meat is good but prices expensive even if your a member. Good customer service no long lines. Great deli great sandwiches and Sushi! Has a Starbucks inside. Store is nice and clean. Parking big and good."

"I go to Safeway alot it's a very nice place to go grocery shopping at. My experiences are very awesome. The staff is very nice, sweet, professional, and helpful to. And the prices are fair. And Safeway is in the same parking lot as Carter's Pet Mart so u can do ur grocery shopping and get all of ur pet needs at the same time also."

"I recently bought a cake for my husbands 55th birthday party. The label said cookies and cream. It was sliced and served, and what we got was carrot cake. This cake was decorated with white frosting and Oreos. The inside was carrot cake. I called customer service and no one answered for 20 minutes. Selected bakery instead and all she offered per the manager was half the price of the cake for a refund! If I had the whole cake I’d get the whole refund. Unbelievable!! I’ll never get a cake from again!"

"Where we were from out of town I needed to pick up a few groceries. The store was nice and clean. Service seem to be good. Their prices did seem a little high to me, and I’m from the bay area where the prices are high anyway. Some things were more than we pay in Hayward."

"Beautiful produce shelving, stocking, presentation. I spoke to the produce woman that was placing more items in the cubbies and told her this was an awesome job. It was nice to see fresh and full product going up. I also frequented the butcher/meat department...assistance was amazing. I asked the gentleman butcher a question regarding a dish I prepare regularly. ITALIAN lasagne. The question was should I buy lean or a more fatty beef. He answered with absolute correctness and told me WHY. I think this was an amazing experience. Worth the try. Time of visit is relevant. I was there between 1100 and 1200 hours."
