"Staff was friendly. Jason Mattern PA-C was professional, Kind. Made my son feel like he was part of conversation about his treatment. Definitely will go back!"
"We have brought 2 of our kids with lip and tongue ties to get released over the years and had great experiences. Currently Dr.Richards has been treating out Autistic 14 year old son and he has been amazing with him. He has been patient, warm and kind to him. Our son gets very anxious in medical settings, but Dr.Richards has won our son’s trust and we appreciate that so much. It’s very hard to find doctors that can take special needs teens in so fast and let alone do it with such kindness. As parents to special needs kiddo we couldn’t ask for more. Thank you for serving the special needs community like you do."
"Edit: because my previous review was quite explicit. This was the biggest waste of time and worst doctors experience I’ve ever had. The pleasant welcome feeling ended with the nurses, the only ones who seemed they cared about their job. I was seen by Randolph Richards for Lymph nodes that have been overly swollen in multiple parts of my body for well over 10+ months at this point. My PCP Referred me to his office to get a biopsy done and after having to reschedule the appointment with his office twice, I showed up an hour early to fill out my paper work, was called into the exam room and checked in by the nurse( I dont remember her name but she was very pleasant to speak with and actually treated me like a human, not another paycheck). After a wait of about 10 minutes Randolph Richards enter the room, Neglected to greet either of us, or ask how our day was, asked where and what the problem was, “ examined” (if you can call it that) 1 of SEVERAL LARGE NODES on my neck for a few SECONDS , and told me that “ Im willing to put it on my career, you can go home right now and you’ll be fine, No need to do anything” then after me attempting to get more answers from him he answered with “ Well im the big man that makes the decisions and calls the shots, if you wanna subject yourself to being poked with a needle, we can do it but I dont see a reason too.” This man thinks hes Gonna see me again in 8 weeks. Boy does he have another thing coming."
"Dr. Richard did a phenomenal job on my surgery. I had a turbinate reduction and something else that I can’t remember the name done. It has dramatically improved the air flow through my nose and my ability to breath. It has also thus improved my quality of life. I am very pleased, very happy and would not hesitate to recommend to others."
"The initial visit was good, I felt heard and that we addressed my concerns, however I’m starting to believe that was only because my daughter was compliant that day. Surgery was an easy process. However, our 2 week post op appointment was enough to make me say do not take your children here. Especially if you have “difficult” children. My 2 year old daughter remembered the office and that it lead to surgery so she was scared. The PA didn’t even give her time to warm up and he was trying to do the exam, I thought maybe if I held her it would be easier as I could already sense his irritation for her lack of immediate compliance. She is a tall, strong girl and ended up slipping my hold and kicked him to which he exclaimed “G. D. It” we take that seriously in our house and honestly I should’ve left then. He was not composed whatsoever and very clearly still irritated and trying to handle my daughter. He continued to get frustrated with her so he brought in a nurse, Barely checked my daughters throat and then was leaving the room. I had told him multiple times that she was fine and if he couldn’t look in her throat that it was okay. She lets us check at home and everything looked fine. The whole experience has rubbed me the wrong way and I wish we would’ve just drove the extra 30 minutes to Nashville for QUALITY Pediatric care."
