"This Safeway store is one of the newly opened stores in the last few years. The store is very clean and organized. Everything was easy to find as they stocked the items where they should be. The employees are friendly, with the exception of the security guards. They look very serious and make me feel the store is unsafe! I understand the store is only a few blocks from the higher crime area. But I hope the security guards will at least look pleasant to the customers and firm to the thieves. The parking lot is busy most of the time. But parking spaces are available with a short walk."
"BEWARE!!! They have security who walks around in plain clothes with shopping carts fake shopping, stereotyping people of color following them around, even inside the restroom & waiting at the exit doors once they’re checking out & leaving the store anticipating for them to have stolen something. Seems to also be some sort of manager there who will come & bag your items personally if you’re a person of color to make sure you pay for everything. Makes you very uncomfortable being a shopper there."
"Good portion sizes, typically good friday deals. March 11th 98 cents per Progresso soups. Look for the 10 for 10 deals. Short lines, hired young cashiers that are friendly and helpful. Thanks"
