"This review is for their goat biryani, nothing else. I am sure their grocery store and other food are quite good. I don't think I have ever eaten a goat biriyani worse than what we bought from deshi bazaar. It was so so oily, if I would have thrown it away if I weren't super hungry. The biryani had no redeeming quality - the meat was very chewy, rice didn't feel like the usual biryani rice."

"Very few items are marked with price-sticker and you realize during/after payment! Purchased a liter of mustard oil (Dabur) for $10.99 (no price was indicated in the shelf or on the item) only to discover the item available for $6.99 at India Cash & Carry (a mile away from this store)! Similar experience with other items too! P. S. It's unpleasant to write this about my community store, but I think the owner need to know and address price issue for their own interest. I still go there for sweet-water fish (from Bangladesh) and goat/lamb meat, but I avoid even looking at their other products. It's important to maintain reasonable price (and that too with clear indication at shelf/on product) to remain competitive in the business! We like this store to survive for years to come and provide good service to our community!"

"Great place to get Pakistani/indian groceries, produce, halal meat, fish, and prepared meals. You can take it to go, or sit and eat. Great prices! Definitely will come again."
